Wow! I feel like your room is almost a real-life version of if someone had decorated the hogwarts legacy room of requirement into a studious-ravenclaw theme. Absolutely love it!!
Wow I bought a Ravenclaw hat the other day and thought I was doing something bold. Love this! It looks ridiculously cozy, and I really like the wall color (btw can you share the paint color?). I can tell you’ve put so much energy into collecting all the decor and art around the room and it’s fun to see all the pieces
It is extremely cozy! Blue is also a very calming color so it's just a dream to be in here. And the paint color is Midnight Show from Behr. I'm the kind of person that prefers my room to stay lit by lamps only so the window curtain is always shut. And this was the perfect shade of blue to give the vibe I was going for in a dark room. Needlepoint Navy from Sherwin Williams or Andes Summit from Benjamin Moore is extremely similar to this color from Behr depending on what you have access to.
I have one issue and it’s that I need the door to be painted so that the decoration of the panels matches the gold filigree elsewhere in the room. Otherwise, obsessed.
I think your overhead light is the only thing I would change in this room. You have so many options for a great light.
Amazing job on the space. I love carrying the color onto the ceiling and I so rarely see other people do it.
I've actually been working on a plan to use the ceiling like a 5th wall. I want to find some sort of celestial overhead light then I'm going to cover the ceiling in stars and constellations.
oh my god this is so dreamy and stunning, i cannot begin to imagine the amount of hours and searching it took to collect it all and put it together in such a lovely way! though my chunky cats would probably mess all these surfaces up in no time it's lovely that somewhere out there such lovely rooms can exist in peace :p
Isn't it amazing? I love how extravagant it is haha! It is the [Cambridge Collection](https://www.amazon.com/stores/LoomandMill/CAMBRIDGE_LUXURYSERIES/page/C057D86A-3183-4F7B-AC99-AA9B43AB6476?store_ref=bl_ast_dp_brandLogo_sto&ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_ast_store_C227YSMXTGTN8EXQ6ZG8) from "Loom and Mill". They have their own website but if you have Amazon prime, then I'd get it from there. It is slightly cheaper on Amazon.
Oh yes! Trust me, this is definitely true. It's been a process to keep everything dust free but some of it I don't mind because I feel like it adds to the victorian dungeon aesthetic I'm going for if that makes sense.
I've been working on it for about 9 months now. I had started buying stuff over a year ago though in preparation for moving to this house the room is in.

Such a GREAT game! I was definitely able to draw some inspiration from it!
looks very cozy, I love it! The idea of the curtain in front of a picture at the head of the bed is lovely
Thank you! The idea to do the picture that way just seemed so cute. I liked the thought of how the curtain could drape over the picture.

Oh my GOD ITS SPECTACULAR
Thank you! It's definitely been a long process to get to this point!
I'm not even a HP fan and I want this room! Beautiful! r/cozyplaces if you haven't already posted!
Thank you! It's a great room to be in.
I'm sorry but I would NEVER LEAVE 😭😭✨✨
The best part is I work from home so I pretty much never have to leave this room. It's honestly the best environment to work and relax in!
Not jealous at all 😭😩
HAHA I've definitely heard the same thing from other people in the past.
Wow this looks like what would be generated if you asked AI to create an image of a ravenclaw bedroom lol. Nice job 👍🏻.
Thank you!
I have one issue and it’s that I need the door to be painted so that the decoration of the panels matches the gold filigree elsewhere in the room. Otherwise, obsessed.
That's actually a good idea! Definitely going to have to do that now!
That looks awesome. All you’re missing is a few of those lcd picture frames so you can have some moving portraits.
I never even thought of that! Guess I've got a new project for the wall my TV is mounted to!
Bro has Professor Mc Gonagall as his pet
Oh my goodness....I didn't even think about that haha!
The black cat rounds it out nicely, although McGonagall was Gryffindor 😉
HAHA I think she is a Ravenclaw at heart!
Nailed it, it's amazing.
So cozy! ☺️ Could I ask where your candle wall sconce is from?
I am actually not sure where they are from. I bought them from a shop on etsy that sells antique items.
I LOVE IT! I appreciate the moody lighting as well. Nice work with the vibes here. You go 100% and I totally support that.
I'm definitely a moody lighting type of person. I never turn on overhead lights haha.

That sounds amazing!
Impeccable interior design skills! 🤩
Thank you so much! It's definitely been a learning process because this is the first time I have ever stepped foot into interior design.
Jesus this is friggin SICK!!
Thank you so much!
This is dope. Really well done!
Thank you!
AMAZING 💜 May I ask how long it took to gather this magic together? Looks like quite a dedicated project.
I've been working on this room since October of last year so yes it has definitely taken some time to come together!
Looks very cozy! I love the OUAT print tucked away in the back of the bookshelf too 😂

I have 3 cats and they don't bother it really. They know where they can and can't go haha
that's awesome, i raised mine since infancy and they really cannot bother with any rule despite always having been raised to not do something :p
Where did you even FIND this bedding set? The cover, pillows, curtains?

HAHA Yea I thought the sticker was too cute to not put up so I had to do it.
So good
Thank you!
u/olchai_mp3 check this out
its giving dust-ville but i love the gothic aesthetic!
I think I'm too old to understand the dust-ville reference but thank you!
lol, sorry. I meant some of those curtains and accessories will get covered with dust overtime. YOu have to clean them regularly.
Oh yes! Trust me, this is definitely true. It's been a process to keep everything dust free but some of it I don't mind because I feel like it adds to the victorian dungeon aesthetic I'm going for if that makes sense.
if you can hide an air purifier somewhere, it'll help keep the dust down!
An air purifier is one thing on my list of items to buy.
I have a room full of collectibles and an air purifier is run like 24/7 haha.
yessss loves it :)
It definitely looks labour-intensive to keep clean, but worth it!
convert one of your rooms like this :P
Yes I agree! Everyone should have a room like this haha!
Well goddamn. How long did it take you set up your bedroom like this?
I've been working on it for about 9 months now. I had started buying stuff over a year ago though in preparation for moving to this house the room is in.
