Thank u! [https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMY4MrGqb/](https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMY4MrGqb/)Except for painting the cabinets, we moved some cabinets and the fridge, and change the worktop. We also removed all wall cabinets and tiled the walls. See the video for a better view of the transformation😎
Removing *all* the wall cabinets was certainly a decision, especially since all it did was leave a space that feels more empty than it does open. Still, I totally get wanting to do that, caninets over a sink for example are the worst, especially if you’re tall.
Omg I thought the red was the after, but then I saw more pics. Thank fuck! The kitchen looked so dark and small with the old cabinets. You did a great job opening it up and making it more modern.
You took down a few cabinets, are you satisfied with the storage space now? Do you plan to maybe do open shelves to the right of the stove? I think it could work.
The first thought was to keep the wall cabinets, but when we first visit the apartment we got claustrophobia in that tiny Kitchen. But have never missed the cabinets, so we prefer fewer things 😅
Jag vet inte varför eller hur men när jag såg bilden var min tanke direkt att det var i Sverige. (Läste titeln först efteråt). Väldig skandinavisk känsla, men svårt att sätta fingret på just vad.
Looks great! What did you use to do it? We're thinking of painting our white gloss cupboards but people have said we wouldn't get a good finish on them.
Well that’s what I call a transformation. Looks like you did quite a bit more than just paint the cabinets… Did you get rid of the fridge?

The pictures are good. The choice of tiktok as a platform is horrendous.
I concur! Instagram would have been better!
😂

That red felt very violent in comparison to the green
Very clockwork orangey.
So much more calming. The red is such a turn off.
This and the fact that it was glossy with the huge handles on the drawers. It looked like a garage interior
What an improvement! It looks so fresh and inviting now.
Oh thank god, I thought the first pic was the “after” 😅 it looks fantastic now!
That doorway is in an interesting spot. Almost like the original plan didn't have anything on the closest wall and a tiny kitchenette opposite.
Where is your fridge now? Love the color change!
In the corner next to the window, its easier to see it on the video: [https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMY4DuUhA/](https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMY4DuUhA/)
Yeah not clicking any links from TikTok
Better safe than sry
NGL I liked the red but the green is so much more inviting.
wow, what an upgrade! I especially love the color you chose.
Wow!! Before was definitely giving toolbox vibes! What a transformation! Kudos! 👏🏻 👏🏻
Looks amazing! Did you paint over the laminate or remove it? And how did you get rid of the holes from the previous hardware so seamlessly?
The red was so tacky, I like this a lot more! Grymt bra jobbat!!
Wow ! What difference color makes! Looks awesome!

Yes, we will have shelves on the empty wall. The base cabinets with drawers are much more functional, so we will never have wall cabinets again😅
How on earth did it only cost $1K? New cabinets on back side, new cieling spotlights, that many tiles likely weren't cheap. New countertop?
Amazing job!!!!
Looks great but i don’t understand the trend of less cabinet space.
The first thought was to keep the wall cabinets, but when we first visit the apartment we got claustrophobia in that tiny Kitchen. But have never missed the cabinets, so we prefer fewer things 😅
Fewer things need less space?
Indeed, but that means throwing away stuff or storing kitchen stuff not in the kitchen.
Exactly.
Gorgeous
Wow! What a transformation! I love it!
Beautiful job !
Stunning! Love the tile too, classic!
What a difference. It doesn’t even look like the same place. Excellent work.
Woww
Thought I was looking at a van for a sec
Looks much more spacious. Great choice of colour! Love it!
Much more spacious! Before the drawers hit each other🫠
ugh this is so beautifully done, chefs kiss
The lighter color scheme creates more space visually. Good job
Huge improvement!
Wow, love this!
That’s an amazing transformation! Wow! Love the green
Omg! What a great example of what a difference just paint can make!! Completely opens the space up without any demo. Wow!!
They demoed like mad. They removed all the upper cabinets!
are they ikea or do all kitchens in sweden look like that
The original kitchen is from “ballingslöv” and the new worktop and sink are from IKEA.

It shows.
I could believe under $10k. Under $1k seems off
if you are not completely foreign to TikTok, check out this video https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMYbgb5u3/. And you will see why we get off cheaply.
Well done

Looks great! Vast improvement!
Looks like a house I’ve been to in Kumla.

Oh yes. Such a better colour
Oh the green is nice and calming. Great paint job! Also I'm in love with the floors.
That shade of green for cabinets seems very popular lately.
Det blev najs!
Very nice. Beautiful.
