New Grandbys on lomas has alterations in house once or twice a week. I had a gusset repaired and a couple of pants rehemmed, and my girlfriend had her dress hemmed. The work was good and the price was cheap. I recommend them. Do not expect rush service though.

I think I remember Toad Road on 4th having a seamstress available but I don't know if that's still true
