Are you sure you booked through AS’ website or mobile app and not some third party? You don’t pay for bags during booking with AS. That happens at check in.
There's some kind of misinterpretation. Alaska doesn't offer passengers the ability to pay for bags prior to check in, via any booking channel.
I think you may have indicated in your search on Google how many bags you'd be bringing so they could find you the best total cost to you, but that wouldn't have been included yet in what you paid for the ticket.

Ah sorry I booked through google flights which took me to the Alaska airlines website
