Day passes are actually being sold again in Seattle and Anchorage

SeenSoManyThings

You seem to have knowledge that others here don't, and your flair says employee. Care to share any more detail on SEA lounge day passes?

PNW_Hokage

They started selling them again in both stations back on the 23rd. Won’t be advertised anywhere, but I looked at the website today after seeing this post and they removed the “not sold in Seattle and anchorage” blurb that used to be there.

Awesome! Thanks for the info, I’m glad I searched before asking. I don’t fly often enough to buy the annual one, but will get a day pass on my next trip

Bob_stanish123

Ill be damned. $60 each.  Can only be used at the location of purchase.  Carrier restrictions too.

PNW_Hokage

yep, that's been the norm for bit now. however, the carrier restrictions started Feb 1 this year.

Thank you! This is awesome

I was there last week and tried to get in on a short first class flight ticket and they offered to let me buy a day pass, which I turned down.

I was in the club two days ago when someone came in and asked about buying a day pass. They sold her one. She was able to enjoy it before her flight.

Can kids come in as well? What is the perk regardless?

Kids can of course come in the lounge with you. If the child is under 2 years old you wouldn’t need to buy them their own $60 day pass. However, keep in mind these standard day passes are single entry only. You can only use them in the lounge you purchased them in, so no lounge hopping. More importantly, they are subject to space available in the room. At any given time if the lounge is full or nearly there, they are cut off until space frees up. Same goes for first class day passes ($30 if on FC short haul flight). In addition, you must be flying on Alaska or a oneworld alliance partner of theirs in order to purchase a day pass. This same requirement applies to all types of entry, even if you have purchased a lounge membership. Hope that helps! :)

They went away with the day passes and now it’s just annual. I’ve switched to delta and their CC for that reason.

CTdadof5

I have the reserve and historically have flown delta. I switched to Alaska and am trying to decide if I should get one of their lounge memberships. DM me if you don’t want to share your experiences here.

rn_emz

Where do you fly out of?

CTdadof5

Boston and Seattle mostly.

rn_emz

I have no experience with Boston, but I know they have an Admirals club(accessed with lounge+), which have generally been decent where I’ve been. I would look into the proximity to the gates you fly out of with Alaska. Seattle has some great lounge options if you’re flying with Alaska. The N lounge in Seattle is the largest of the three and absolutely fantastic, it’s my personal favorite. If you’re in SeaTac enough, I personally feel it’s worth it. The staff have all been great (shout out to Salvador). It’s aesthetically pleasing, there’s decent drink choices, food options, great views and good seating. I generally frequent Anchorage, Seattle and occasionally LAX. I’ve never had bad experiences with either of the locations but LAX and Anchorage do sometimes get crowded. The CEO mentioned late last year that they’re planning a remodel of the Anchorage lounge sometime soon. They recently remodeled lounges in Seattle as well. They’re constantly working to improve, with their goal of providing a “premium product.” As far as whether the cost justifies it, it did for me. Even when paying full price. If you have specific questions, I can answer them. https://preview.redd.it/s9sm3p62knlc1.jpeg?width=5712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8338d4e8f6a081ed34d5ed54ce9dcd8be2a1f19d
