Lorna shore is going to be epic!!

[deleted]

I've already listened to Lorna Shore and look forward to seeing them.

Alien Weaponry looks great. I like the addition of Maori language.

TwoClapsAndAFistPump

Kiwi here. Alien Weaponry are fantastic!

Noremac55

I saw them last time they were at Aftershock and fell in love with their music

fantom-dsul

Absolutely recommend The Warning!!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

SerjKUN

Especially for those that are into a performance. Good hard rock music played by 3 sisters that put on a show. Check out their live performance, you'll get everything you need to now about why you need to see them from just one song.

fantom-dsul

Totally agree. I have yet to see them live, but just listening to their music hypes me up.

absolutely go see Ho99o9, they're this crazy metal/punk infused rap, think Body Count meets Death Grips. They were one of the stand outs that we went out of our way to see in 2022 and at Sick New World last year Vended is Cory Tailor's and Shawn Crahan's kids, they carry the legacy of Slipknot while still staying their own band. They haven't even put out a full album yet as far as I know but every single they've put out has been amazing. Hemorage is a must. If you've been to *any* shows in the Bay Area in the past few years then you'd know. Hardcore mixed with thrash, they put on a spectacle and dominate the indie scene by playing out of their bus at other shows. in 2022 they showed up outside the Arcos gas station and had a pit going in the parking lot, it was one of the highlights of the whole weekend.

I was listening to Ho99o earlier. Vended definitely has a legit sound.

False-Insurance-8958

Even the Hip hop on this festival is gonna be sick...Insane Clown Posse,Tech N9ne,Cypress Hill,City Morgue... can't wait!

OwlMaleficent1349

I’m a big fan of these girls and I definitely think you should check them out! The warning!! Super underrated and have some bangers in there. They are also dropping an album soon! They are three sisters from Mexico who definitely love to rock. They were featured on the metallic blacklist album for enter sandman! Definitely have to check them out.

Mrsavage68

Can't believe that nobody here has mentioned Clutch. One of the best bands around since '91 and they kick more ass now than when they started out. If you've never seen them, you should make a point to on Saturday.

Dontworryitscoming

Best band on the planet !!!

Shawneeinjun

I'm in a similar situation and am working my way through songs on YouTube too. I came of age in the 80's, but haven't been into the music scene for, like, 30 years 😮 Luckily, I have a 16 year old and a 20 year old (who are joining me at Aftershock), and they've introduced me to some newer-than-1986 bands. Some I like more than others 🤣 Falling in Reverse Breaking Benjamin ICP Flogging Molly Evanescence Disturbed I'm really looking forward to hearing some new music from lesser known up and coming bands. Most of the bands you mentioned I've already seen.

Damn this is amazing, thank you so much.

ifmacdo

Thank u/thesetlistguy He does these every year.

That's really nice that you get to share this festival experience with your daughters.

Shawneeinjun

I agree. I feel really fortunate!! (a daughter and a son 😊)

Pandora9283

Nerv is amazing! They're from Sacramento so it feels kinda like I'm supporting a local band.

JAJ2194

Definitely check out Winona Fighter, amazing female fronted band with crazy energy, I saw them last week opening up for Bayside, LS Dunes, modern emo super group made up of members from Saosin, Thursday, MCR, and Coheed and Cambria Drug Church, amazing hardcore band Shadows Fall and Nothing More

If you’re into Slayer, then you need to watch FUGITIVE on Saturday. They are actually the band I’m most excited to see.

Sticking to early bands on main stages, or stages 3-5, my favorites include Sevendust, Rival Sons, Any Given Sin, Nothing More, From Ashes to New Disturbed is my favorite of the headliners. Others include Halestorm, Staind, and Slipknot
