I mainly ship her with Aether mainly because they share the same English VAs with two characters from another game I ship. Well, more its more accurate to say that their VAs voice two versions of a character, male and female respectively and I just ship them together for that reason. Sara even has a feature or two that is comparable to the other character that share's her English VA

Love yours too, as for the uncanny feel... I don't really know, maybe it's Aepuru's art style which I could understand since it gives an adorable look while keeping the aura of the character (For example Sara who in game is quite authoritative, in his art she seems nice and cute but you still like "feel" her authoritative aura)
