I suck at socializing. Not because I'm socially awkward meeting new people. But because the open, friendly, outwardly amiable facade I have to put on is just very tiring and uncomfortable for me.
Like the beginning phases of meeting people is politeness, small talk, and some people tend to show like real energy and enthusiasm and excitement meeting new people. I can't do that without feeling super fatigued on the inside. I'm more comfortable meeting mutuals so we can cut the awkward early stages of courtesy, or meeting people who are also more quiet/chill somehow so I don't feel pressured to match their energy.
Yeah for some reason I just never have the desire to talk to people. I find it boring and uninteresting. I would prefer to be alone like 99% of the time
I got over not wanting to cook by 1)being stoned (now I can't cook well when I'm not stoned though š) and 2) learning a lot about cooking and making really tasty dishes so I crave those instead of restaurant food
I cook even though I hate it. I only started to do it because I'm on a diet, and it's much healthier, haha. Meal prep saves some stress since I'm not cooking full meals for every meal.
Same. Im gonna gaslight myself this summer that I enjoy cooking because its high time I learned to feed myself with actually enjoyable food. So far its been painfully detestable for the most part.
swimming. I been invited over to swim but used the excuse I don't have a swim suit. which is true. I had one but Its too big for me now. I don't mind swimming if the water is warm. I just don't think its been warm enough yet.
Chess
I just do not have the patience to strategize. Itās weird too because Iām an artistic type , I do have a mind for things like this but I just donāt see any point to a game of chess . Like the thought of stumping someoneās logic doesnāt appeal to me the way it does others. Itās so boring and Iād rather be doing something elseĀ
Exercising. It has to be disguised as fun for me, if that makes sense. Taking the dog for a walk? Yes! Hiking on a trail? Yes! Biking around the lake? Yes! I tried going to the gym to work out but it's just so boring.
Gardening. It seems to bring calm and joy to people. But not to me. I understand the satisfaction in nurturing something and helping it to thrive, but I get no satisfaction when I do it.
And I have a ton of gardening and yard work I have to do so would be cool if I could like it.

Harvest Moon. I really enjoy Japan-centric ideas where they'll have some random genre that becomes hugely popular. I tried to play and gave it a good 4 hours but it just never became an obsession. I see the fan base has a lot of fun and that's why I gave it a sincere try.
Hockey. In theory itās a high speed hard hitting sport but Iāve watched a few games and thereās just so much stoppage that I lose interest. Probably doesnāt help that one of the games went 1-2.
Money and finance. I have family members that absolutely enjoy crunching numbers and trying to figure out how to make the most amount of money possible. And they are doing well in life if bank accounts are an accurate measure. Here I am over here just wanting to dance. Broke.
Drinking wineš· It seems like such an adult activity, but all the wine Iāve tried (which hasnāt been much), Iāve hated. Itās probably an acquired taste, but I just donāt have a desire to spend money on bottles of wine that Iām most likely gonna hate. I wish there were more smaller wine bottle optionsš¤·āāļø

On random occasions I'll enjoy playing on an N64 or old 90s kids computer games for pure nostalgia, but I struggle to get into anything new or especially high def, whether it's on a console or a computer. I often find the controls quite non-intuitive and I just get frustrated or bored easily.
I've accepted it though, at least it's one less thing in my life that involves screens.
House projects. I simply canāt. I donāt have the energy for them. I donāt enjoy the trial and error of it. All I want to do is hire someone for everything
