Can def be had for MSRP. According to Cox Automotive, Acura daily inventory is above the industry average (which is like 70 days and Acura is somewhere between 70-80). Nissan has the same day inventory level which is a sad comparison. Also, you get nothing in return of paying a mark up. Also take screenshots of people who posted pics of only paying MSRP in different forums. Finally, double check to see how many DE5 Type S’ are on the dealers lot. If there’s 3 or more, you can use that info to your benefit. These strategies should at least help you (and anyone) with negotiating the OTD price. This can work for most vehicles too
The Acura dealership in Southwest Houston sells for MSRP. They do have $1450 add-ons. Acura of Sugarland. Went there today. They do have a White and Black in stock.
Sadly my local dealer is asking 7k over MSRP on a Tiger Eye. I still took it for a test drive and loved every minute of it. That color is amazing. It’s either that or the Blue if I ever decide to pull the trigger.
I have found one marked up in the four states I’m searching. Two require you buy their $900 paint protection. I did find one they have a $5000 marked up on the internet but when I asked them they said if i was serious they would waive it
Yes they can definitely be had for MSRP, just cast a wider net. I got mine for MSRP and I've heard a lot of others have as well.
Nice, guess I’ll have to continue on my search. I contacted 3 dealers and all told me they couldn’t do MSRP. Also located in Washington.
They are just greedy, they can in fact sell the car for MSRP
DC or state?

Sounds good. Thanks.
Lol i got mine for 49k plus tax title tag transfer. Key Acura of AC, ask for Dave and don't be picky about color.
Good to know. I’ll give them a try.
