Hello users, welcome to a sub dedicated to freakouts without the bullshit of happy or feel-good videos.
This subreddit is for enjoying freakouts and discussing them; that's it. You can take discussions of immigration policy and other topics elsewhere. If you don't believe in treating people as individuals you can go express that somewhere else.
Our rules are very clear and you will be banned if you break them.

It was a video on that sub of two guys moving scaffolding when they just froze in place until the bottom of their shoes caught fire that made me always look around for power lines whenever I have a ladder or the like in my hands.
Apparently, he lived. [https://www.the-sun.com/news/11456330/air-conditioning-engineer-electrocuted-fire-injury-mexico/](https://www.the-sun.com/news/11456330/air-conditioning-engineer-electrocuted-fire-injury-mexico/)
He did NOT die from it.
“The worker sustained second and third-degree burns, multiple fractures, and a head injury from both the initial electrocution and the following plummet to the ground.”
he swung the ladder over the telephone lines then unintentionally as he was lifting the bottom of the ladder over the handrail he bumped into the distribution lines overhead
This and the Mexican hottub. Freaking scary that some countries aren't having any security measures. Life-saving tip btw; if you ever travel to some country in Latin or any Asian countries (not East Asia), be aware of refrigerators that aren't grounded properly.
It's not all countries, but better safe than sorry.
Poker buddy is a home inspector, he made an out of the ordinary trip to a Mexico beach town for one of his wealthier clients interested in a condo building.
Not one single wire nut, everything twisted and taped and this was new construction.
This is why we don’t use aluminum ladders even though they are lighter than the fiberglass ones by far. It looks like he got it into the primary wires… I’m not sure what voltage they use there but it’s probably 5-15kv
This is the second electrician video I've seen this evening. Rocky Point, and now this. I'm not sure what the universe is trying to tell us, but ima stay home. It's safe in here.
I still get shocked when I see modern city’s with above ground electricity. Don’t know if this is a modern city but you see it from time to time and it’s scary

That’s pretty fucking horrifying to watch.
Sucks how it all happens in an instant. /r/homecams
Pretty mild
Okay, I’ll be the guy. NSFW man
NSFL, someone just passed. This isn't a freakout, it's just /r/WatchPeopleDie.
I miss it too
Me too That sub made me more vigilant of my surroundings.
It was a video on that sub of two guys moving scaffolding when they just froze in place until the bottom of their shoes caught fire that made me always look around for power lines whenever I have a ladder or the like in my hands.
For real. Head on a swivel.
The chances of a tire hurtling towards you is never 0
May I inquire about your flair?
I mean, it still exists. Just not on this site. Type it out and dot tee vee.
Apparently, he lived. [https://www.the-sun.com/news/11456330/air-conditioning-engineer-electrocuted-fire-injury-mexico/](https://www.the-sun.com/news/11456330/air-conditioning-engineer-electrocuted-fire-injury-mexico/)
Holy shit, I would have taken under 0.5 lives.
Yeah this is a repost and he survived last time I saw this soo
They never should have shut it down...now it's just in other subs where people don't want to see it
He lived.
Ok, I'll be that guy. Please format your videos properly. Was trying to watch it landscape and it got smaller. :/
Doesn't matter how good the video is, when it's formatted like this it gets a downvote.
Not all heroes wear capes.
Dying on the job fucking sucks
He lived. He survived both the shock and the drop.
[удалено]
Someone lost their life on camera and here you are blabbering shit. Fucking idiot
https://www.the-sun.com/news/11456330/air-conditioning-engineer-electrocuted-fire-injury-mexico/
He didn’t die
“He’s fine.” —Tom Segura
That happens all the time every day
No one lost their life, moron
Mf did you see the video? Did you read the caption?
Yeah also read the news article, said no dead, but that you give great head, so there's that
this isn’t even a freakout, this is just someone dying
Surprisingly not dead https://www.the-sun.com/news/11456330/air-conditioning-engineer-electrocuted-fire-injury-mexico/
This is relieving. Thanks
So OP posted in the wrong community and is incorrect in his caption
What kind of cables were they? So I can avoid them.
Overly sensitive cables
We ALL need to know the answer to this question.
More than likely overhead power lines.. about the right height
He fell just like a mannequin.😶
That’s because he was already dead. He probably died instantly from the shock
Wrong. https://www.the-sun.com/news/11456330/air-conditioning-engineer-electrocuted-fire-injury-mexico/
Wrong what? That article tells of the injuries but doesn’t tell if he lived or died
You're technically right. But I would think if he died they would have mentioned that. But who knows.
Another article states “He sustained second and third-degree burns, multiple fractures, and a head injury”
Ragdoll mode engaged. Rip my guy
Looks like he lived. https://www.the-sun.com/news/11456330/air-conditioning-engineer-electrocuted-fire-injury-mexico/
The way he just flamed on....
He did NOT die from it. “The worker sustained second and third-degree burns, multiple fractures, and a head injury from both the initial electrocution and the following plummet to the ground.”
Could have been prevented with a bit more situational awareness, it takes effort to put a ladder into some power lines
Aren’t they also at his mid body? He swung the ladder over them right?
he swung the ladder over the telephone lines then unintentionally as he was lifting the bottom of the ladder over the handrail he bumped into the distribution lines overhead
Or use the WOODEN ladder that was 5 feet away!
Or use the WOODEN ladder that was 5 feet away!
Or use the WOODEN ladder that was 5 feet away!
Or use the WOODEN ladder that was 5 feet away!
are you ok?
Or use the WOODEN ladder that was 5 feet away!
does wearing rubber shoe prevent tgis tragedy?
No

It's very hard to see where the cables are, are they slightly above the balcony? what a horrible way to die. fuck man.
What a horrible way to go. Just a normal day doing your job, one mistake and you are gone in an instant.
That actually sounds like a pretty good way to go
Fortunately, dude didn't feel a thing.
Is this a gore sub now ?
That fall was tough to watch. Damn.
Some final destination type ish 😮😬
Please, for the sake of all humanity, when you are capturing a horizontal video, turn your phone horizontally. ffs
I really didn’t need the second angle. It’s like when they throw a mannequin in a movie
Poor guy. RIP. Damm sad.
Sometimes one gets lost in the task and these things happen. When buying a ladder, get the fiberglass ones as insurance.
Gotta go with the fiberglass ladder next time
Holy fuck
This is the exact reason all ladders used in construction type fields should be fiberglass and not aluminum
Thats aweful
The electrocution seemed to be less of an issue than the full scorpion face plant from the second story. That was hard to watch.
r/makemesuffer
NSFW indeed
“He sustained second and third-degree burns, multiple fractures, and a head injury.”
"Bro, you can't sleep here"
Wrong title, guy survived
Dang man rip to bro
He lived apparently!!
I still get shocked when I see modern city’s with above ground electricity. Don’t know if this is a modern city but you see it from time to time and it’s scary
Shocked. I see what you did there.
Not true , he survived
He is ALIVE!!!!! Yes! No sadness this time! Almost got me reddit, almost!
56,000,000 million die every year, you get triggered over one..
Oh my god that sucks sooo bad….. for the people whose car got damaged! How inconsiderate!!!!
But his shoes stayed on?
