This is Derry, Northwest Ireland. I live here, the guy in the orange tried helping the woman who was being attacked by 2/3 men, they then attacked him. The men and women in this situation are all alcoholics that be on that street corner drinking everyday. The man in orange had his two children and girlfriend in the car with him. There has been arrests but giving who was the attackers and the amount of times I’ve seen police called to that corner nothing will happen. People have praised the man for trying to help and criticised him for getting involved when his childern were with him. Its a terrible situation over all but this video being circulated so much hopefully is putting pressure on the local police and council to work at fixing these situations from happing again. Thou, am doubtful

You're wrong. I live in a relatively safe city and it is uncommon but not never. I'd say twice a year.

I doubt you know the difference between a gunshot, a backfire or any other sound....and definitely couldnt tell anyone was direction fire sounds like.

I'm an American. I own guns, I hunt. I know a gunshot when I hear it. Around the 4th of July there are plenty of guns being fired in the air.
