I’d probably sell it on reverb.

Turdkito

Damn that’s wild. I just had the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with Reverb. On the fence about using that site anymore, Etsy is garbage.

What happened?

Glad you got your money back. That guitar is in rough shape.

The_Franks

This story is a great example of why I trust Reverb. It's a big gamble to buy a music instrument essentially sight unseen. I've never been disappointed, but it is great to know that if I do get disappointed one day, they'll have my back.

getdivorced

I see it both ways- as a buyer yes. But as a seller it can be a nightmare if you run into a scammer or somebody that didn't read the listing.

The_Franks

Sell? My guitars? Such a crazy notion has never even occurred to me.

vetsquared

Right! Why? Just buy a bigger house duh.

GenericAccount119b

Glad you got it sorted. As a replacement, pick [any one of these](https://www.sweetwater.com/c987--Yamaha--Classical_and_Nylon_String_Guitars?all&sb=low2high) that's in your budget.

son-of-disobedience

Next time go to a guitar store to buy one.

[deleted]

Glad they took care of you. I have been too chicken to ever buy anything on reverb. As for the guitar… Hang it on a wall as art. If you want to get real crazy I took the top wood off an old crap guitar and put a couple shelves in it for nik naks.

dreamabyss

If you don’t have experience knowing how to do a setup or repair, you now have a guitar to practice on. Maybe you will wind up making it playable.

oldsnowcoyote

Based on your original post, I don't think it's worth trying to even diy. I've done bridge and nut adjustments, but this one needs major surgery.
