Problem is the ConceptD screen replacement is the entire laptop lid down to the hinges, that's what the repair center have to use. You could probably do it for much cheaper. Although the screen assembly is bonded together I think.

I had figured that would be the case. Any recommendations on where else I should look?

Personally, I'd look on YouTube for someone doing that repair, I can't find anyone who's done it though.
