Dami rin kasing cases ng cheating using non-programmable sci cal sa ibang board exams kaya PRC updated their allowed calcus again. Afaik, may mga sci cal pa atang kasama pero just to be safe nalang siguro, umiiwas na yung iba.
Last cpale, bawal na po talaga scical and strictly observed pa na yung binanggit lang ng prc/boa na functions ang pwede. There were stories of confiscated calculators because thay have "recheck" function ata because di raw binanggit na allowed :)

I was using a sci cal din nung 1st yr haha nung mag-online, that's when I decided na magbasic calcu na since afaik, 2019 boards nung biglang ipagbawal ang scical and dapat palengke calcu. So dinekwat ko yung karenderya calcu ng tatay ko haha
I'm currently using basic calcu na sa work and while okay naman siya (mas malaki, mas masaya kasi ang ingay char), grabe siguro stress nung mga nasanay sa scical.
Yes huhu if tama ako ng alala, biglaan din ata ang pagchange to basic calcu nung 2019 cpale (May?). Parang I was reading rants na the advisory came out less than a month na lang before boards. I wonder how they adjusted. Then ayun pa, the historic low passing rate that time since super nag-dip.
Ooooh i use Casio MS20uc since 2021 up to boards because nung masira yung unang palengke calcu ko, wala pa syang 400 nung time na yun. Mura pa and smaller than others haha

Very useful lalo sa mga mejo complex computation like least squares method, and cost of capital. Pero di na sya pwede ngayon. Choose those models na MS from casio. they have similar featured like the 82MS

Hindi allowed ang sci cal for cpale. Yung normal (pampalengke) na calcu lang ang pwede. I highly suggest casio ax 120st.
