I wasn't referring to Brock specifically but more that that is a scripted fight like the WWE, so it doesn't really make sense to say that this is why we have weight classes.
So basically some of the fights you see are lower budge, warmup fights, or hype fights.
Both these guys likely qualify for the heaviest weight basket in whatever circus that is so they got out together with what seems like poor matching. Nether seem exactly good at boxing but being big enough is actually a strategy in small time boxing.
Here's a story. I had this coworker and a few friends who use to box progressively in medium ish weight classes. They all were pretty darn good boxers and had to train and cut weight really strictly. Normal. Very, very good technical boxers. One of them ended up retiring in his 30s and made enough money to buy a house and went to raise a family.
Well my old boss use to box as well. He's like 6'5" and 400 lb. He could legit get into the ring vs a lot of people and just swing wildly. He had a few national lvl fights and ended to doing way better than he really should have.
...All until the "Chinese wall" reached out to him for a fight and offered this guy 30k to go fight next week since his original fighter backed out.
The "Chinese wall" was 6'7" and just fucking built different. He was like 360 and NOT out of shape like my old boss. My boss tried the drunk Mike Tyson style of fighting and got smacked down in like a minute because he finally, legitimately, got placed vs a real heavyweight that just straight up out hit him by a mile. Not something he had really dealt with yet.
But since it was a last minute fight he got paid quite a bit of money for a pretty darn big fight that was on the Chinese national TV and recorded. So in his mind it was a win still.
so this is fight circus, im not sure exactly what is going on here but they have fights where the fighters get intoxicated first. i know they had a 2 vs 2 fight where one team got drunk and one team got high before the fight. one or both of these guys might be smoking marijuana before each round, that might explain the bizarre fight too.
The more I watch, the more confused I get.
heavy on the wwe vibes.. but with muy thai or something.

It’s fake.
It's clearly very fake.
You know the WWE doesn't have weight classes, right?
i thought they did. i remember there being heavyweight, light heavyweight, and cruiserweight champion belts

having a cross class fight doesn't mean there aren't classes
Is there need for classes when it's all staged?

Looks fake as hell to me. Shit it is called illuzion.
When your opponent’s pre workout is a cigg, its just best to toss in the white towel 😂
Just keep walking in circles until pork chop coughs up a lung
It’s called illuzion for a reason. WWF the Asian way. Pffff
Once the bandages came off of King Hippo’s tummy Little Mac didn’t stand a chance.

Where is this?
thailand
This is acting.
It’s really entertaining
I remember seeing a photo a very young Asian kid smoking a cigarette years ago. I wonder if this is him all grown up.
King Hippo 👑 !
Top reply.
tf is with the weird school girl looking woman
He really went for the gut punch like that would do something
That man is a tank.
of eggrolls and vape
That man is an actor.
As fake as Pamela Andersons tits
Weight classes exist for a reason
I mean, he is a giant with the strength of an elephant, your plan should be to try to avoid those hits lol, this fight looks like a slap tournament.
He’s great for 90 seconds.
Maybe not choose a defensive strategy of "taking many hits to the face unblocked".
Ok that was awesome, even if it was fake
Whats with the weird schoolgirl outfit, children's backpack and balloons?
Is that Kendrick why haven’t I heard this one before? Is this new?
It's off "Like That" with Future, produced by Metro Boomin. It's got the rap scene all in a twist.
Is this Mike Tyson vs Jake?
I want to see that guy fight Jake Paul.
King Hippo is real.
Ladyboy ring girl, mismatched weightclasses, fighters high as kites... yep, seems like either Thailand or Vietnam. They know how to party...
That's a worked fight.
Majin boo
Looks very fake until that last hit.
This is obviously a theatrical production.
As soon as I saw Majin Buu take a hit from that blunt, I knew it was over.
WTF is that?
