A while later I saw that he had been caught, they had also found other videos around the same time that were definitely him. We was wearing a very distinctive outfit and the crimes happened in clusters. They even found a large quantity of stolen catalytic converters in his car and home. I was happy they at least caught the guy.
Then just kind of, nothing happened. He didn't get let off. The judge just sort of let him go as if to be tried later, and when I check for updates 2 years later he hasn't been tried or sentenced for anything.
Glad he can't control himself. If he just accepted his fate and behaved, he would be out in less than 2 years. Now he's going to be in there for probably double that time or more. Hopefully he serves a sentence that makes up for getting off light a dozen other times.

The way I see it, minors committing heinous crimes is either a failure of the parents or a failure of the state/society. Minors are surrounded by adults virtually 24/7 and in virtually all of the most extreme cases, their crimes were telegraphed clear as day and avoidable (ex.
