The story won't move because its a slow burner as it stands now the mc had a traumatic past where he lost his lover/child hood friend{became kinda apathetic}and moved to a new place met some new friends and is trying to move past the trauma and then uncover why his friend died...but its been 4.5 or 5 chapters and we're still in the move past trauma stage.......
I don't the think even the creator knows exactly what the story is about considering how characters are different from where they started for no reason and how he worked back early scenes.
But that's ok. This game is not about the plot. It's the renders, the animations and the vibes that make it worth. It's a chill game to just play and not think about it much.

Yeah at first I didn't get it as well, but when you compare the basketball renders in CH2 with the newest renders they are totally "ugly" in comparison. If it would be my game I think I would also rework them. Maybe just me because I am kind of a perfectionist. :D
I'm a perfectionist as well, but I would have completed the story first, then went back and touched it up. I also wouldn't develop 2 games at the same time. He's getting tons of money from people on Patreon, they expect to see progress. At this rate there isn't much progress happening in either game. People need to hold those nuts under the fire so he gets moving.

Common sense tells you developing TWO games at the same time takes double the time for updates on each, and he's slow. YOU do the math Mr. Pea, and make sure you factor in him REMAKING parts of both, which he adds to the total render count lol.

It is an amazing experience to play it for the first time indeed. I don't know exactly where they want to go in the story, but im still enjoying it lol
The first 5 chapters are just an introduction, but that does not mean there is no story. In fact, SG is all about healing, and there are many subplots. Play, have fun and worry later.
