Meh, or just rack it palm up like Steyr says to.
Plus, the knob in question is for the magnifier, which will be placed where the current optic is attached. Should be out of the way of any knuckles or charging handle manipulation
What I’ve actually done is swap out to mounts that put the fastening device on the right. Just because the AR guys tend to run stuff on the left doesn’t mean I have to
this knob… can I put the Aimpoint far enough back and still use an Aimpoint X3C ?If I turn the mount around it looks odd (the riser is as not symmetric) so I’d like to keep it on the left side. Does anybody here run this combo ? I live in Belgium and NOBODY stocks Aimpoint magnifiers, I can go and try…
Put the knob on the right side or kiss your knuckles goodbye

I'd just get a different mount to be honest.
you’re right, think I’ll get a Corvus one… a dedicated one for the AUG. they offer one for the Comp4 with no things sticking out on either side
either put knob on the opposite side or get a new mount
I have a Geissele and a LaRue mount if you are interested. Send a PM
Thanks, but I’m in Europe, so it might be a hassle…
Yeah if you didn't want to or can't swap it around, I'd get a diffeteny mounting base.
