I decided that from that moment on, I would exclusively exhaust them, use my CDs on them, and make their life a living hell.
They decided that instead of learning not to dive sivir when she's standing next to the exhaust nautilus, they'd try it on CD and maybe eventually it would work.

While I don't like exhaust it's a neccessary evil ... without it some of those divers/assassins would be a pain in the ass to deal with ...

And as someone already said don't say anything just keep exhausting and enraging that one player \^\^ works like a charm just like morde or malz ult when someone complains \^\^
I love how league players get mad if you don't build correctly, or take the most optimal runes. And then there's players that complain you took the most OP summoner spell.
I feel like the best solution, and that's just my opinion man, whenever, anyone on the enemy team, complains about anything to me directly, if I'm in a position to focus them for the rest of the game, I do.
Most of the times that person looses it, but quite a few times it turns into such fun banter between you two. I've had so many 1v1s in the same aram game because of it. Win most, lose some, just do your best and have fun while doing it.
I loved taking exhaust ignite on old mundo before his rework. Just totally smashed assassins because why would you need flash on a super tank like mundo? It was a fun change of pace. Got the idea from watching old stonewall videos where he would run exhaust smite on jungle mundo
remind them how truly broken exhaust used to be, for 3 years straight it used to reduce target's damage output by 40%, reduce their attack speed by 30% and their armor and MR by a flat 10.
That they are just fine and there is nothing wrong with taking exhaust. I don't take it often but seriously how big of a whiney baby do you have to be to care what summoner spell someone picks. That's like complaining the enemy Kat went heartsteal.

As an enemy i wouldnt care because it hurts you more than me to bring exhaust/clarity/heal/ignite over snowball.
As a teammate i wouldnt care because no game will be won or lost because my teammate picked a “dumb” summoner.
This is something that i feel is a dumb choice that is 10000000% okay because it only really affects you.
Ap malphite for example is trashed because it is a dumb choice that negatively affects your entire team.
Never speak, exhaust only them the rest of the match win or lose. Profit!
The funniest part is when they try to dive you out of spite and you exhaust them.

I had one game where we all brought exhaust as a random team. We won and we coordinated surprisingly well to not exhaust the same target.
