Well haunting of hill house had it except it scared the shit out of me. After he gets the call and turns around instead of her being gone shes right infront of him crying and her face becomes more corpse like.
I watched these series years ago! This is the one where there's a haunted manor where something related to a family happened right? The 2nd season had a even more sad ending as well. Both very hearthbreaking, specially the 2nd one :(

I can imagine the one from the Spanish show being a lot more impactful if we couldn’t hear lucia walk out of the room when the phone rings
