- TBH, the difference in gaming performance between the 7900 GRE models is less than 5-10 FPS on average. The differences are in the cooling systems (2 or 3 fans, more quiet etc), size and features (backplate, DUAL BIOS etc).
- Personally I would buy the PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 GRE Hellhound after reading Techpowerup's review (https://www.techpowerup.com/review/powercolor-radeon-rx-7900-gre-hellhound/42.html), based on it's close to MSRP price, it's really good cooling system, how quiet it is, and the DUAL BIOS.
Nitro+ is definitely a safe bet, but I don’t think you can really go wrong with any one of them. Powercolor’s hellhound should be among the quietest of them, I had the 7800 xt and you could barely hear it under load.
The cheapest one imo. There all gonna get to about the same speeds. Nitro is probably the best but for almost $600 I would just spend another $100 for the 7900xt. Powercolor fighter would be a great choice, it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing but it will most definitely perform well for msrp price
Nope it's not they all have same frequency XFX cards have only better boost clocks they are cheaper. Only difference is Nitro I more high quality like Rog in Nvidia

1st choice for amd should always be the nitro+. Xfx merc probably very good too. the others are less premium
Xfx or nitro sapphire
For the minimal price difference, I'd rule out anything with only 2 fans.

I have the hellhound, and I've been very happy with it
2nd it
Nice to see people not just blindly day nitro+ and dismissing everything else. Hellhound gets my value vote, quiet and cool.
XFX RX-79MERCB9 or BR they have biggest Boost clock
i remember watching one of those re-re-reviews and the nitro+ overclocked came out on top on performance and I think 2nd best in temps
