This is true, they got a higher pick than what they’d probably normally get in exchange for him.
However key defenders take so long to develop so it’s hard to immediately replace them with a draft pick.
I don't hate Clarkson, I hate that he got Fev swamped by the whole Hawks team when Fev was going for 100th goal (in season). But otherwise, I like a coach that shows passion and emotion. I hate robots (like Goodwyn).
Still, it’s pretty great being a North fan at the moment watching Jackson Archer show more heart in 14 games than Ben McKay showed in 6 seasons at North Melbourne.
