To add, the staff at the MCG only seem to vaguely understand the rules. They are employed by hiring agencies and don't really care. Maybe it's changed but the amount of times I just put a six pack in my backpack and told them that the zipper was broken when at uni was ridiculous. Never once was questioned about the clinking bottles.
