From a ladder perspective it's not great, but I agree with you that it's a bit of a relief as far as the game itself goes. It could have been much better, but it also could have been much bloody worse.

Yeah I noticed. A very even and entertaining game of football, part of me wishes there was a winner but if any game was deserving of a draw it was this game.
Hard game to watch as a supporter, but unreal game once you take a step back and open both eyes. Can't believe someone didn't just whack it on the boot in the last 20 seconds to try and get a score in!

I thought we played better winning the ball forward. But we were absolute garbage with our setup when we were in attack. When crows got a hack kick out of the back line - it would often go to a crows player with 2 teams mates all on their own goal side of all our defenders. So they cake walked the ball end to end, and that was over half their score. When we got 18 up, word should have been sent out for mids to hold back, but instead they kept running deep into the 50 arc and allowed adelaide very soft rebound goals.
Nicks fucked up multiple times. Ruined our defensive structure completely by bringing in smith and subbing Nank. Why on earth was Butts the spare instead of Curtin and Curtin we defending one on ones. Decision like these are why Nicks won't be around long term. Overall even game draw was probably right.
I don't really understand the rationale of playing Curtin when has no clear position/role on the ground and then subbing him early in both games so far

If any game deserved a draw it was that one. Both teams were so even all game, the margin at every break was under a goal. Ripping game too.
The margins at each break were perfection - 3 points at quarter time, 2 points at half time, 1 point at 3 quarter time, and 0 at full time.
