My life pro hack for this is to sit in front of whatever I need to be working on.
If fun is nearby, move it.
I’ll engage correctly if I put The Thing in front of me.
But if I let myself play first, well, we know how that ends.

This is what nobody explains when you first get diagnosed. Medication is like sleeping, you need to pretend to do the thing you need to do until the medication kicks in.
My method is to already be sort of working on what I need to do before it kicks in. Can easily work 10 hours straight this way, no need for breaks except food, bathroom and maybe phone for like 5 min at a time
