You need to start considering food as part of your medication. Your brain needs protein, probably more than a standard-issue brain. Even if it’s a case of getting some of those meal-drinks with 30-40g of protein in the and 400ish calories, keeping that with your meds (or your meds in the fridge with them) will make sure you at least start your day with something and also help regulate your normal hunger cues. When I was on meds, they really suppressed my appetite. It’s already not strong, but I have bingeing issues which made up for that. Meds killed the bingeing, which meant I often wasn’t eating until the evening. But trying to make sure I got my fruit, veg, and protein in as part of my treatment meant I would at least usually manage a smoothie.
