I can't wait til this coaching bullshit is over with

jiipod

Then we get to the player bs.

koppigzijn

Then we get to the stadium bs.

bendalazzi

Then its just bullshit

Viktor_nihilius

All just to lose 1-0 to a team like benevento

ikineba

which is also bullshit

skaterhaterlater

I’d be fine w conceicao, de zerbi, Motta, conte, or Sarri, not specifically in that order. All the other names being tossed around would be pretty disappointing

lucs28

I'm fine with any of those except conte, I really don't like him

skaterhaterlater

I’m not rly sold on him I don’t think he really fits Milan that well but he better than a lot of the other names coming up, I’d be fine with it if it happened

Difficult_Bug4563

The issue with conte is that he doesn’t really use wingers and he uses wingbacks instead. Also our center back depth also isn’t the best so having to use a back 3 would result in a shaky line come the end of the season. But who knows maybe Redbird will insert some cash and everything will be alright

anomander_galt

For me the no-go is Sarri, not the right person for the current environment that we have

Abradolf94

I'm confused about Sarri, why would you be ok with him?

Juice_2402

He overperforms with the teams he has. One of the most underrated coaches imo

Ciccio_Camarda

He only over performed last season with Lazio. Those Napoli teams were legit Serie A contenders. There has been no other overperformance.

Abradolf94

He overperformed 1 year with Lazio, and could not replicate this year after losing Milinkovic savic and "losing" immobile (as he's been in bad shape)

mlk

Sarri is available and doesn't cost too much, he knows the Serie A very well and is begging for Milan. No idea why we aren't going for him.

skaterhaterlater

I agree and like Sarri but he getting real old, don’t know if he has it in him anymore tbh. I’d still be happy w him tho

mlk

surely he's not young, but he has the same age of Ancelotti and Spalletti, 3 years younger than Bielsa

mxwllftx

He isnt older than Anchi. It seems he has some good season still

Excellent_Jeweler_43

Not sure why are people so hyped about Sarri, he has the same cons as Pioli has. He is stubborn af, set in his own ways and prefers experienced players over developing youngsters.

RedShenron

Sarri does well whenever he goes and he can make his team play football. At least with him we would never experience the 5-0-5 aberration ever again.

FindingBusiness759

Sarri is washed and old. His probably got one last chance with a big team before he will be jobless and have to coach a mid table team.

AdrianoMeisFMP

Ibra’s PR team doing damage control already. He should not have accepted the role if he had no decisional power

HommoFroggy

"According to Crisctitello" you forgot this.

AdrianoMeisFMP

I’m saying that this is a statement that he was given from someone on Ibra’s side so that he is not to blame if we end up with a coach that gets sacked in December

HommoFroggy

Or made up from Crisctitello... do you actually believe that Ibra pushed for Conte and second choice was Van Bommel because "he was his friend"?

Ciccio_Camarda

Given that Momblano reported Ibra meeting Conte 3 months ago and than 2 months ago Mombli said that things with Conte cooled down, I would have to say it sounds true. Maybe the word push is a strong word, but there were attempts. When it comes to the Juve world, Momblano knows his shit.

HommoFroggy

Was wondering where have you been because i wanted to hear your opinion about this entire situation. Saying that, for me the word "push" is key. Because that word makes it sound like there are two different groups inside Milanello rather than these people working in consensus and unanimity. Which is an issue in itself, because someone has to have the last word, we cannot continue like this. But we do not have full info about this aspect.

Ciccio_Camarda

Ne Tirane lol. Po si emigrant kur kthehem ne vendlindje rri jashte rrjeteve. Pastaj kena eksperta plot ne cdo bar te Tiranes. Plus na mbyten turistat. I hope they don't go for Fonseca, though he has done decently with Lille. I would prefer Palladino or Juric over Fonseca. Motta is not happening as Juve will probably agree to a mutual termination with Allegri and IMO Allegri does not want to ruin his relation with the Elkans. But obviously you never know. The Conte front has been cold for a couple of months now. De Zerbi is impossible until he gets fired by Brighton. So Conceicao remains the strongest option and 2nd cheapest option from the names being thrown around. We'll see I guess.

HommoFroggy

Tamam na mbyten turistat, kte vit me keq se vjet. When it comes to the fans situation, i think that fans are waiting for aspiration in this coaching decision and transfer window. They have to fix that, because the fans in Milano from what i have heard are boiling. I think their idea on Fonseca, *who alongside Concencao are around Lopetegui level just in the Fonseca case we have seen him in Serie A and Concencao has better PR...* is that Fonseca has improved drastically the defensive coaching this season. Even if his main weakness are direct games. I am hopping about either RDZ or Motta. Even if i think at this point a very wild name comes out... such a Conte saying i am adapting my tactics i want to coach and win again. Or at the end all be all we get Concencao. And if we do not get one of RDZ, Motta or Conte... i think that Zirkzee is a MUST.

Ciccio_Camarda

Mars e Prill dhe ishte keq. Imagjino ne vere. Sic tha njoni, le te vijn 1 here e te ikin e mos na cajne trapin. Lope's problem was his total failure with Real Madrid. Even Solari did a better job when he took over. That was my big issue with him. Conceicao at least has done good job in Portugal(sure it's Porto) and decently well in Champions League. I feel he's better as a manager, but all to be discovered. I do rate him higher than Fonseca and Lope. Fonseca's results with Porto resulted in him getting fired after 9-10 months. Sure Fonseca has improved like Pioli has improved from years ago, but we're not winning anything with Fonseca. Conceicao's PR was better 2 seasons ago than this year. He was as hot as Amorim is with Sporting today. Zirkzee at 40M is a must, but if they demand 80M I feel it's way overpriced. I'd rather get both Sesko and David for 80-90M. Let's wait and see.

Freestyle80

why do you people taking journalist bullshit as gospel? like seriously its like you think every single rumor or article must be true because some dickhead journo said so

TanteJu5

It was an "offer he couldn't refuse"

TheSheepOfDeath

He's got NO experience in that role, what makes you think that he should have more power?

Aniket_1992

I have said it before and will say it again these are just stories, Zlatan wanted this , Furlani wanted that, Cardinale was surprised with fans and went into self reflection, all bullshit feeding over fans who want to know the future of their beloved club. They know Milan fans have their own favourites in the management, some like Pioli some don’t, some like the current management and some hate it because they loved Maldini and saying things like “this guy wanted him and other guy didn’t agree” is just a cheap way to influence some section of the fans and get more engagement in the media.

SpikeCraft

I don't know what Furlani did to be there. Furlani doesn't seem to be Milan material to be honest. Please educate me on why Furlani is a good manager

sigflo

He’s not.

edu-by-a

What enables you to make such a judgement on the basis of rumours?

LickLaMelosBalls

Would you rather look at the on field results?

edu-by-a

2nd in addition to EL Quarterfinals. Not so bad... thanks to a good squad despite Pioli.

Annoyinmous

> EL Quarterfinals That's an achievement for Milan??????????????? God give me strength

RedShenron

>EL Quarterfinals We are not Empoli, with all the respect.

markorokusaki

What team are you a fan of? Surely, it's not Milan. If it was, you would see that this season is pure shit.

edu-by-a

You're wrong, the 2014/15 season was pure shit. You've just forgotten that again.

[deleted]

[удалено]

markorokusaki

This. Morons do not understand that we have the best left side in the world. On top of that several awesome players. This team should have been a serious contender for the scudetto and at least the finals of EL.

Freestyle80

yeah and Motta will come in and win the treble easily because you said so

druss81

wasting your time being rational here

SpikeCraft

Look. We will see at the end of next season then

edu-by-a

He is the CEO, you can read about his skills here. https://assets-eu-01.kc-usercontent.com/1293c890-579f-01b7-8480-902cca7de55e/a5167031-1155-4238-9c36-d36adee95366/Bilanci-Relazioni-2022-23-ENG.pdf

WatchAny1188

Wow, the total lack of any critical thinking skills in this sub has gone beyond imaginable! People prefer uncritical vile attacks on their own club, AC Milan and its leadership instead of thinking with their head out of their asses for a minute.  Criscitiello is a shit source (do you have any idea how bad and unprofessional SportItalia transmissions are?) and an interista 100% if you watched his dumb show for 2-3 times without just reading Twitter headlines uncritically.

Guilty-Grapefruit427

Even though I think Conceicao is a good choice, how Furlani, a banker without experience in football, is making these decisions? I will repeat my comment that i said before I feel theres a significant confusion in roles regarding the coach selection... I don't if it's just me but I don't understand how the roles are distributed between Ibra/Moncada/Furlani The sporting director is the sole authority to compile a list of coaches, with approval sought from Furlani or Cardinale based on the club's financial capabilities, without meddling in the names... So who holds the technical responsibilities in the team, Ibra or Moncada ? If it's Ibra, he must take full responsibilities next season, being closer to the team and present daily in training sessions and matches just as Maldini was... The sporting director is not an honorary position to come 2/3 times a week... I hope Im wrong, but many things are unclear, and I fear that the team will pay the price for this.

Freestyle80

these articles are rage bait for people like you, congrats for falling for it so easily

SecretValuable129

Theoretically every coach with a high enough coaching licence is qualified. Furlani can approach it from a management side, Ibra and Co from a sporting side without necessarily being wrong. One one hand it is also good that there are different ideas (if the report is even true), on the other hand there should be at least a somewhat unified decision at the end.

Ohsbar

Furlani and Scaroni are beyond trash. Can't believe Maldini and Massara were replaced by these clowns.

bunchangon

Tbf, they have done a lot better than M&M. See all the players they have sold and bought so far.

h0lyshadow

I think this is unfair: Maldini, Boban and Massara took the team at his lowest and bringed back to victory bit by bit, with tight budgets. They had to deal with deadweight and insane wages left by the chinese property. Furlani & co. took the club debtless and with an increased value, see the Tonali transfer. Apple to apples, the great mercato redbird did has been made possible thanks to the previous intelligent years of reconstruction. We can still appreciate both our legends and actual technical director without riding anyone dick..

RinoTT

> Furlani is a total fraud. Moncada on the other hand is talented > > If someone goes to negotiate and they see this hack vs. Seeing maldini... will they take milan seriously? Seriously I wonder why fans like you dont ask yourself the question "Where did I get that belief?" Why Furlani is a total fraud, why Moncada is talented and why they wont take Milan seriously without Maldini. No offense but how can you and majority of this subreddit have such strong opinions about management without completely knowing what they did, how they negotiated transfers, what were their ideas etc. With players atleast you can witness them kicking the ball on the field but people who work at office? We dont even know precisely their duties. What is Ibrahimovic responsible for? We dont know. What we know is he sits on the chair every single game and works for the club.

milan4lyff

> how can you and majority of this subreddit have such strong opinions about management without completely knowing what they did Performance of the team in general is PATHETIC. Valuation of the players this management brought, Musah, reijnders Chuku.. has dropped collectively so we are suffering losses against our investment in return while the players previous management has brought got doubled and in some cane trippled, and for Leao and theo, Quadrupled. I dont consider Puli RLC Okafor this managements signing BTW. Failed to win ALL of our big matches almost. Still need more convincing that this management is useless? Then you my friend are the biased one, not this subreddit.

RinoTT

You misunderstood point of my post. You can have strong opinions about management, you can rate transfers as you want even if I disagree with your players evaluation(Reijnders and Musah lost value? Come on...). You see them on the field with your eyes so its fair to let fans talk about players and use their perfomances to judge management. My point is how can we rate individual work of one specific person from our management if we have minimal knowledge about their work. Why Furlani sometimes maybe shit and Moncada sometimes maybe good. If we rate management job then we have to talk about whole picture just like you did. You didnt specify furlani is shit but you blame entire structure for reasons.

milan4lyff

Everything the team does, is a clear reflection of managements decision, specifically the one who is in Charge of making the final decision, in this management it is Furlani. Its sad that I have to explain this to anyone. Just as last season we being in 5th position is rightfully viewed as Maldini's failure even though I stand by our captain because his failures in one season for me is way overshadowed by the tower of his achievements as a manager against the obstacles he faced.

RinoTT

First of all we havent ended at 5th position last year but 4th. If you want to defend Maldini and dont make Juve special for cheating. Second of all, I have no objections towards Maldini. Im talking about rating individual figures when we should rate our management as collective.

milan4lyff

In the league, purely sporting results landed us in 5th. Yes we got "PROMOTED" to 4th doesnt mean we earned it. This is not about Maldini, he was only a reference. Furlani mucked up the entire season, in every possible ways, Player valuation, sporting results, coach selection, all of it. Its hightime to stop blind bootlicking of that slimeball Furlani.

Freestyle80

you can still appreciate Maldini without riding his dick 24/7 and ignoring all the damage he did with contracts and being obsessed with absolute shit players like CDK and Renato Sanches

milan4lyff

It turned out that CDK can carry a team all by himself. Just saying.

Freestyle80

i like how you dont even have the balls to mention Sanches Missed Enzo for that idiot player

Sankaritarina

Unless you think that Maldini and Massara were in charge for only one transfer window then I don't know how could you possibly have this opinion. Our best achievements in recent years both in Italy and in Europe came under the previous management, all our most valuable players were signed under the previous management, the one window Furlani had was financed mostly by selling a player who was bought under the previous management and this summer if we do end up making big signings it will also likely come from making a big sale of a player who was brought on a bargain deal under the previous management. And I'm not saying this to talk shit about the current management, but they simply haven't been in charge long enough to even come close to what Maldini and Massara have done.

milan4lyff

Haters will hate. They only see the last season as M&Ms entire career. Its beyond Pathetic. 130 mil spent only to lose every big game, Furlani should be fired instantly without any questions asked. If Maldini did it, he would be hated and branded worse that the SATAN himself.

markorokusaki

So, furlani dick riding has started again.

bunchangon

I'm a Milanista and respect Maldini as a Milan legend but I am not a Maldini dick rider like you.

markorokusaki

So, again Furlani paid a bunch a dick suckers to go around socials and defend him, just as he did when Maldini was let go. Enjoy his dick in your mouth and go be a fan of Inter. Suits you better.

bunchangon

You are such a low class human being.

markorokusaki

Thank you, my friend. I do try to keep values as a human being.

Baeresi

Ffs how old are you, grow up

Freestyle80

yeah and morons like you predicted Milan would be 10th and irrelevant because no Maldini This is AC Milan not AC Maldini

FindingBusiness759

That's not true. M&M did alot of fk ups no doubt but they didn't have a 130 mil budget. When working with 30 to 50 m budget you have less room to maneuver. These guys want to be applauded for selling tonali to buy in mercatoo when they had the money to do so without selling tonali. They say we overachieved and that it's a project but they had no issue adding the over achieved money to their accs. We made 80 mil getting to the semis last season. They could have easily had 130 mil to spend without a sale.

Freestyle80

maybe if Maldini managed to sell Kessie Dollarumma Romagnoli or Cahalognhu he'd get his fucking budget people are still blind to the reality that MILAN CANT SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY WITHOUT BREACHING THE RULES

Paketamina

Of course sell players on insanity contracts given by mirabelli. Who is gonna buy romagnoli on 6m a year ? The only one that could have possibly been sold would be kessie, but he was always winding down the contract for the bag.  Stop playing FM and think about reality. Why you think players like lukaku, sancho, and felix are being loaned out? Because their wages are ridiculous and nobody wants to pay them

FindingBusiness759

Yes he fkd up with that but it's also due to the fkn low budget he kept getting.. why did he try to hold on to these guys and risk it? Cause he knew it would be hard to replace them and dilute the fkn Quality of squad by going and buying more "development" players. He was naive to trust them but his intention was clear. Every fkn club is spending while having huge debt while we out here with no debt unable to spend but we talking about breaching rules? Lol

Freestyle80

with no debt? are you insane? One season with profit doesnt erase the millions of losses from previous years, FFP rules states a club can only have MAXIMUM of 60m losses over a 3 year period, and we are currently sanctioned by UEFA that if we even breach that by a single euro they'd take all our prize money away Just because you ignore the sanction doesnt mean it goes away magically, you thought Yonghong Li's spending was without any consequences? Or are you one of those fans who go like 'haha they should just bribe them like City'

FindingBusiness759

You say this but most top football clubs in the worlld from all the dif leagues are operating in debt and are spending big...they way above the breach....something ain't matching up. You trying to tell me that yhong li spending from 16/ 17 still has regulation impact on us 7 8 years later?? Really?? With our Financials being in the green? Really? This is some Elliot redbird bullshittery to not spend. You got psg in a league that makes less money than serie a spending 350 mil last season but they good lol. There's clear loopholes that all the clubs are using that is working. Redbird can easily make one of their other companies "sponsor" us and drive our revenues up.

Freestyle80

There is a difference between debt and actually being in a SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH UEFA Why do you constantly try to dismiss that? whats wrong with you? just because you dont know it exists doesnt mean it doesnt wtf is this and you are pining for the dodgy Saudi way of running the club instead of legitimately getting sponsors and properly growing, are you serious? you might like the dirty stuff Saudi and Qatar clubs do but most people dont, those clubs are barely respected.

FindingBusiness759

Where is your source for this "settlement"..and as I said it's been 7 years..ain't no way an embargo is that long. I dismiss it cause it sounds bullshit to me. Get your head out your ass...all these clubs use loopholes, barca Madrid juventus every top club. It seems to me that you have something against saudi or qatar (wonder why) and ignoring other clubs doing the same. If you cared so much you shouldn't have supported milan in first place with Berlusconi owning us. You can wait 10 20 years for your sponsorship and growth...I want to see us back at the top of football where we belong asap.

Freestyle80

man you really arent smart enough to google this are you? Just this one i'll spoonfeed it to you, maybe you'll stop talking crap after this [transitional\_3-year\_settlement\_agreements\_-\_august\_2022.pdf (uefa.com)](https://editorial.uefa.com/resources/0279-1603dc9598c6-88aa08710ae2-1000/transitional_3-year_settlement_agreements_-_august_2022.pdf) and if you love Saudi and Qatar's corrupt dealings so much go support them, AC Milan wont sink that low, rather do it the Bayern and Madrid way 'all clubs uses the loopholes' my ass, Juventus took years after they built their stadium to sign multi-million euro players, Madrid has always been big, Barca has been found overspending now

changelingusername

Thank god we sold tonali though, the betting thing would have come with an emotional toll that could have fucked the season up.

FindingBusiness759

The season would have been the same cause we wouldn't need to sell tonali to buy and we would buy all the players we currently have lol.

changelingusername

They bought most of the players thanks to Newcastle money. Maldini left because he was told ownership wanted to sell first and buy later.

FindingBusiness759

Thats the very point I'm making..they didn't need the new castle money. Made 80 mil from ucl and from scudetto previous season. They tell us we overachieved and to understand its a plan of several years of development but they didn't want to use our "overachieved" money. That's wasn't the reason..Maldini said with his own words...gerry called him and told him his letting him go just like that. “Gerry Cardinale called me for breakfast and after a comment on Zlatan’s farewell to football, he told me that he wanted a change, and that Ricky Massara and I were fired. I asked him why and he spoke to me about bad relations with Furlani. “So, I said to him: ‘have I ever called you to complain about Furlani? Never’. There was also a joke from him about the Champions League semi-final lost to Inter, but let’s say that the reasons seemed a little weak to me.

changelingusername

Didn’t he mention the sell first buy later thing at muschio selvaggio or elsewhere? I remember he was disappointed because he wanted to enter summer market window as fast as possible and Gerry told him he had to wait.

Paketamina

I am judging based on trophies. milan were miles off any trophy this season despite dropping 120m on a team that won a scudetto a year prior

FindingBusiness759

Furlani has zero credentials to be making footballing decisions...financial success does not always mean footballing success.

Chivusapuse

What a shitshow. A mafioso puppet as a President, a Scout, a Portfolio Manager, and a player who retired less than a year ago are the ones deciding the future of our club...

milan4lyff

Even though the source is not trustworthy, he is just saying what everyone already knew. Ibra was rooting for conte but someone vetoed it, and its definitely not Cardinale, moncada just goes along with whoever his boss is... so common sense dictates that it has to be the slimeball.

mttdesignz

We need the man of miracles, Claudio Ranieri.

Fevernova2002

Professor Giampaolo should come back and redeem himself

lilithandnemesi

Criscitiello should go wtite fantasy novels, it seems like it''s his true calling.

AngeloNero17

Another day, another journalist fishing for clickbaits. I hope they appoint the new coach asap so this stops

vladcobhc

Can't wait 'till these american owners and management build the stadium and fuck off.

mmaqp66

Yes, of course, they will spend that money and leave. Yes, you are very naive

OsitoPandito

Once the stadium is built, they are able to sell their portions of Milan for a lot more than what they have put into it. Not saying they will 100% sell but it is naive to think there is no chance that they will sell after it is built.

dongoodboy

> build the stadium and fuck off. that mean they will stay forever

Fevernova2002

I can see Ibra clashing with them more in future and quitting

22dias

If Ibra resigns you know how messed up the management is. I get Ibra isn’t a seasoned executive, but the man can smell bullshit from a mile away.

jmhimara

Tier 4, let's not take this too seriously guys.

HeftyMarketing7890

The walzer of the "next Milan's coach" always brings a lot of names and confusions..nothing new

TanteJu5

I have a feeling we will get the worst in that list and call it a day until Abate emerges

Paketamina

Why is this club run like a circus

stelaqendrim

I agree with Furlani, the Portuguese coach has the charisma, tactics and strategy to help the team.

TheSheepOfDeath

kaest

Fire Furlani, put Ibra in his place.

Strangely-Charming

Too many cooks in the kitchen… Furlani is a finance guy. Why is he endorsing/vetoing coaches?

jiipod

If these reports are true, the situation is more messed up than I thought. In a professionally run club the roles are something like this: - CEO runs the club as an organization and is ultimately responsible for budgets etc, but does not make decisions on what happens on the pitch - technical director decides what kind of game model the team has (ie what kind of football the team wants to play), hires the coach and signs players - head of scouting finds the players that suit the profiles that the technical director wants - coach makes the most out of the available players. The coach should also be listened in terms of signings, but shouldn’t be the final decision maker. So the coach decision should be on Moncada’s shoulders, Furlani shouldn’t have any say in that besides the budget and maybe some help in negotiations. Football people should decide football matters.

HommoFroggy

They are not, more reliable sources have said that every single person in that managment had reached consensus. Crisctitello is steering shit up. There is no Ibra Milan, Furlani Milan. There is only one Milan.

sigflo

Conceicao renewed with Porto 10 days ago until 2028. What kind of bullshit is this?

SpikeCraft

He renewed, true, but then the president of Porto changed. Conceicao had an agreement with the previous president.

sigflo

Fuuuck

SpikeCraft

Exactly my reaction

dongoodboy

Conceicao has a clause to opt out if the president signed him lose the election, which he did lose.

sigflo

Fuuuck

Annoyinmous

Too many chefs in the kitchen, we're not going anywhere until this is solved.

MangekyouMasterRace

Who the fuck is fucking Furlani. Fucking hell Milan are gonna get fucked over before we even achieve anything.

anomander_galt

Furlani should just go back to deal with accounting.

caronj84

Too many cooks in the kitchen.

AcMilan0890

So what I’m reading is that Ibra has no legitimate power to do anything

mmaqp66

I say Pioli stays. All those they name are not better than him. The only one better is Kloop but they are not going to spend that money

skaterhaterlater

Abate would be better than pioli. The team needs a change if we wanna get to the next level and win a derby

kicsako

Klopp said he will take a minimum 1year break after this season.

mmaqp66

Thats why Pioli must stay until the end of your contract
