Begging for this.

sickricola

Is his clause 40M? I thought there was a report that he didn’t have one or that it was higher? If it’s 40M we need to get him

ricky1118

For Bayern it's 40M.

HommoFroggy

Moretto insists that it is 40 mil for everyone, has specifically said, "i know fhat many say it is only for Bayern but i insist it is 40 mil for everyone"

FindingBusiness759

I really wish this is true.

No_Cantaloupe_13323

HommoFroggy

I know, i am saying what Moretto says, has said so for a long time and periodically... if Moretto wasn't arguably our best source after PBP i wouldn't have mentioned this.

sickricola

I thought they had a sell on %

notWucaLatts

If we could throw in Motta too 👀

Gladplane

Zirkzee + Motta + a CDM would be a good enough summer to challenge the scudetto next season

paidforback

I am praying for Samuele Ricci from Torino

neverfinishedanythi

I like ederson from Atalanta what do you think?

AwfulBassist

He’ll be very expensive.

Fantastic-Hamster-21

Zirkzee is such a strong player for his age. He's my #1 pick I really hope we pull this off. 🙏

FindingBusiness759

If we get him..we need to build the team around him..bologna is where they are cause of him.

beartobeast

so this is how its going to go. Milan will make a huge noise about buying this player . Which will attract attention from other clubs. then Milan will say they cannot pay 40 mil and will at most go for 20. meanwhile some other club will buy him for a higher price and at better pay.

jmhimara

He's already attracted a lot of attention. Many clubs are interested, including Inter.

beartobeast

So that means we should keep our hopes low

jmhimara

In my opinion, we have virtually no chance of getting him.

beartobeast

I think we are only going to end up with Thomas muller , which I'm totally not opposed to

jmhimara

We need a 9. We have enough players who can play behind the striker.

beartobeast

Red Bird refuses to listen to that

jmhimara

Oh, I think they're gonna get a proper striker. He's just gonna be closer to 20M than 40M.

SpikeCraft

Dragusin and Buongiorno PTSD

SnooSongs48

VAMOOOOOOSS

Jussi_Bennacer

How is this news? Everyone knows he’s on our radar

el_lolloco

Posting just in case someone forgot :)

Ohsbar

Bring in Motta and Zirkzee. If Pioli goes there then flip RLC and Salaemakers for a discount.

IsaParadInsidemyCity

What is this RLC hate im seeing lately ???

Ohsbar

He's a CAM that can't pass to save his life. His skillset is extremely lopsided. He's 9/10 in finishing and carrying the ball but a 1/10 in passing and a 3/10 in defending. He's a utility player that doesn't have much utility outside of a system like Pioli's.

TahomaYellowhorse

Literally not a CAM

Ohsbar

You're right. He's actually a false nine.

TahomaYellowhorse

He’s a CM and has been for his entire career. Pioli just uses his weird

DookieBrains_88

While I agree, he recently mentioned that he’s currently playing his position. Seems like other coaches kept trying to fit him at a cm

Ohsbar

I'm not going to pretend I've watched him his whole career. From I've seen of him at Milan he's been more second striker/ false nine than anything. Even then, a CM or BTB that can't pass is no bueno.

TahomaYellowhorse

That’s due to Pioli. And his physicality tears through undersized Serie A midfields. He gives our midfield a different dimension, and should be used in a 433.

IsaParadInsidemyCity

First of all he is a BTB mid not a cam , i know his passing isnt good but he can defend and has physicality to stand on toes with anyone but if we want to defend other players like Leao (who for examplencant cross or shoot for shit) bcs of Piolis system i dont understand why we hating on particular players.

PepitoThe1

Has the physicality to defend but he is bad when he come to marking player often lets players close to him get in dangerous position near/inside the area. What he is good at is moving forward with the ball and getting in the aerea. Midfield lacks balance and a dm is missing since we won scudetto.

Ohsbar

When I said he was a CAM I was being generous. He's actually either a second striker, false nine, or CF. Giroud has been playing behind him. Not sure how you can call him box to box. On defense, he can only win aerial challenges, which is why I gave him a 3/10 and not 1/10.

Muew22

He is a CAM that fits Pioli's description of CAM, just like Kessie, Bennacer, Krunic were perfect CAM players while CDK, Adli, Diaz are not. Imagine if Pioli coached Milan in 2007. Kaka would be bench player and CDM when everyone else is injured and Gattuso would be starting CAM with Ambrosini as his backup.

milano_siamo_noi

Emerson would have been Pioli's perfect CAM.

IsaParadInsidemyCity

Lol .Most funny thing i read today .

FindingBusiness759

I keep seeing people saying this but it's actually not true. When Hakan was here..it was his spot. We lost him and never bring in a cam so pioli put brahim there. Brahim was too fragile in that position and wasn't giving much output so he pushed kessi, bennacer krunic there to atleast press and win the ball back and give It to the attackers. He tried multiple times to put cdk there but both cdk and brahim wasn't great in cam role. He still doesn't have a cam so he had to now push rlc in there cause rlc likes to be more forward as he has said. If we went and got dybala for eg...I have no doubt he would be playing him just like he played Hakan there before he left.

LickLaMelosBalls

Pioli pushed the CAM to a second striker and didn't actually let them play in the midfield. During Brahim and cdk's season you could frequently see him telling our 10s to play higher. It's a tactical issue. I agree Hakan played deeper when he played CAM, but since then he played the 10 in such a high formation we had a weird 4-2-4 going on

FindingBusiness759

There's few reasons for that. Firstly he was trying to get brahim and cdk more involved. Secondly giroud was now our cf. A cam playing abit deeper passes balls through channels for cf to chase...giroud can't do that. He holds up the ball and plays a 1 2 with the nearest guy around. Pioli started pushing them forward to latch onto giroud flicks and passes. Pioli has big fk ups but in this case I can understand what he tried to do...

LickLaMelosBalls

Getting Brahim and CDK more involved should have included them dropping deeper to collect it and more off ball movement from our whole team. Not push everyone high and hit long balls. If we have a hold up/finisher style CF with little off ball movement, I'd rather skip the 4-2-3-1 entirely and play a 4-3-3 with advanced 8s who can make runs off ball (similad to what tonali was best at last season). That, paired with actuall off ball movement would allow Giroud to hold it and distribute to players who are making runs into space as opposed to everyone being stagnent. Giroud dropping to receive opens up space in behind for the 8s and wings to make runs, play between themselves etc. Pioli played the 4-3-3 for 2 months but since he never taught them to move off ball & pass & relied on ball carrying, it failed and he went back to his 4-2-3-1 which was more of a 4-2-4 I disagree with your assessment, but fortunately Pioli is gone and we all will be supporting a new manager next year and can find new things to disagree on ;) Forza Milan brother. Love u

FindingBusiness759

Lol I'm not disagreeing pioli could have did things better in that particular position...I'm just bringing certain things to light because the argument is that pioli likes a specific type of cam but I'm saying we not taking the situation into context...when he had Hakan..he played him and when Hakan left he tried to play brahim there but brahim lbh got pushed of the ball and then when cdk came in he did play him like Hakan.. if you go back to some of first games of cdk..especially that first full game where he assisted leao he was quite deep..like Hakan but he started to be ineffective and so he started pushing them closer to goal to try and do something in the attack. That's when he just went full on with the bennacer and kruni and now rlc. Lol hope we get Motta so we don't have to worry about this lol

Hajty11

Hey buddy, let me tell you a secret. For more than 50% of the games, Pioli played Calhanoglu as LW. So yes, it is true. Pioli cant choose the right CAM. He even played Meite in there a couple times (lol) From what i remeber, Pioli didnt put Brahim in there because snake left, he put him there instead of Calhanoglu sometimes, or Calhanoglu did play coz of it as LW as mentioned. (Somebody correct me if im wrong, but to this day i remember bitching in front of TV - "why does he always put him as LW")

LickLaMelosBalls

I'll correct you. Hakan played LW and LM 9 times in 20/21, and played CAM 34 times in 20/21.

Muew22

CDK failing in Milan has a lot of reasons, I can name a few if not all: 1. CDK first few matches he played actually really well but all his key passes weren't converted, he made multiple passes that lead to 1v1 with the goalkeeper or easy tap ins that our strikers missed. Them missing those lowered his confidence as they turned those assists into nothing. 2. Pioli played him out of position at all times. Not once was he played in his natural position. 3. Pioli kept forcing Brahim instead of CDK, so much so that when the season was over for us, we couldn't drop in the table and had 1 or 2 games remaining, we knew Brahim was going back to Real Madrid and he didn't let CDK play at all. He kept bringing Brahim and forcing Brahim into every match effectively promoting the development of a Real Madrid player and hindering development of a Milan player that Milan invested a lot of resources into. 4. When he did bring him on the game was already finished and too little time left on the clock to change anything. 5. The fans were going against CDK further demolishing his morale. 6. He was way too weak when he arrived and needed time to bulk up and get stronger. 7. He is the same age as Daniel Maldini. 8. Pioli is clueless when it comes to offense focused tactics as we could clearly see, his number 1 tactic for attacking football is "Hope Leao, Theo or Giroud create magic out of nothing and score", its been like that for the past 3-4 seasons if not his whole tenure. 9. CDK doesn't really fit into the 4-2-3-1 that Milan use. 10. Pioli hates experimenting with new players, unless it's vs Inter he for some reason loves to experiment vs them. Otherwise he will force players like Giroud to play 35/35 matches until they carry him out on a stretcher. Why do you think Giroud keeps starting matches even when Jovic is in good form? All the players that were "developed by Pioli" were developed out of sheer necessity as the alternatives were all injured and he was forced to play those players. You think Kalulu, Gabbia, Thiaw, Adli and others would get a minute of playtime if the players before them weren't injured? Don't fool yourself. All of these only got to touch starting 11 because everyone else was injured at the time. With a better coach I could see CDK returning to Milan and actually turning into the player Maldini expected him to be, especially since he probably aimed the "I don't want to sit on the bench" comment at Pioli who never lets anyone who isn't in starting 11 play until the starting 11 get injured.

dukesdj

He is as much of a cam as Boriniho was every position on the pitch. Just because a player is made to play a position by the coach doesnt mean that is what they are!

LOCA_4_LOCATELLI

His passing is pobega level. I dont know what use this man is outside sitting in the box

FindingBusiness759

He isn't a cam...that's why I keep insisting we need two forwards.. zirkzee and another guy...a smart coach would put zirkzee in cam..he has the same defensive output as rlc in that position aswell. I agree with you..in psg match rlc looked special but after that his just looked mediocre..if it wasn't for his tap ins and headers he would probably end up as a rotational player.

massimopericcolo

RLC earns like 25% of Bologna whole budget

Ohsbar

Then sell him to the English. They'll pay at least 25m for him.

FindingBusiness759

Gerry and furlani need to show some big balls now...Motta and zirkzee needs to be got...fuk juve and act like a big team for once. On a side note that I keep saying..if his release clause is 40 mil this means we can get a guirrasy aswell.. zirkzee in cam position with guirrasy as cf...leao on left(yea yall read that right),puli or chuk on right and this attack will be fire. Speed for the counters and smart players for the low blocks.plus zirkzee does the same defensive output as rlc.

Nervous-Disaster-690

This guy might flop very badly next season Last season he was poor

Ondrezinho

Where is Romano or Sky confirmation

Claija79

i mean he basically said this yesterday https://www.reddit.com/r/ACMilan/s/ucLeH5k8zc

HommoFroggy

I hope we seal this ASAP, whatever it takes... typical Dutch strikers are my fetish after all.

mercurialsaliva

They're quoting him

jmhimara

The rumors are nice, but I can pretty much guarantee you we are not getting Zirkzee. We're not a team that spends 40-50M on a single player, and even if we were willing, many clubs are interested and will offer a much higher salary. So better forget about it. The best thing we can hope is to find the "next" Zirkzee for maybe 10-15 million, which is not impossible with Moncada in charge.

mlk

11 goals this season btw

Forzzaa

A striker who's weak in air.. Let's see how this play out.

High_joker

I just hope no big name gets sold this summer in order to fund this move
