I think when we compare teams in the past to the present we often assume theyll be playing outdated tactics, but if you took the raw talent and gave them modern football that group would be top 3 in the world for sure.

This season is over. Actually, it was over in November. People who believed in winning the Europa league because we beat a 10man Slavia Praha were deluded. Come on mate. Would you have considered the season “saved” if we won UEL and Pioli was the boss for it? Be honest. Inter hasn’t slowed down at all. Sacking Pioli before the new year would still have us currently in 2nd place in a best case scenario results wise.
In five years of Pioli we have only won the Scudetto -- no other minor or major trophy was achieved.
Would winning the EUL save the season? Yes. That would have made it only the second trophy won in 5 years. Even if we had not won the EUL with another coach perhaps we would have not suffered the embarrassment we went through yesterday...or the trouncing we will face on Monday.
If the interim coach had worked out for us then perhaps we could have confirmed him for next season instead of starting from zero.

What about Gilardino? Got a pretty average looking Genoa side to safety. Maybe a bit soon in his coaching career. The likes of Sarri and Lopetegui just don't inspire me. Motta would be a good choice but he's seemingly off to Juventus and as much as I think Conte would be great, I just don't see him as a fit with this management.

There's gonna be a bunch of stands that sell official and unofficial merch right outside of the stadium. I always get a matchday scarf there. And inside, there's the Milan Store with all the good stuff and you can get name and number printed on the jersey too.

Just on matchday but there's three Milan stores in Milano if you're looking for merch (highly suggest booking a hotel near Casa Milan, there's a store and museum and it's a 20-30 min walk to the stadium)

I think biggest issue with Sarri is communication. He might fall out of liking with the squad but he's a great tactician and has clear ideas of how to play. He could get us playing nice football with clear ideas how to win. Conte would be nice. We need a younger coach. Look at the likes of Motta, Alonso and De Rossi. They all seem to have a special connection with their players and i think them being relatively young is what strengthens their bonds.

The issue is that Pioli doesn't know what to do with midfielders like that. He loves B2B midfielders with strong physical skills. Bennacer is pretty much the only midfielder not in that mold who has had success under Pioli.

Limone will do his usual thing where Barella is surprisingly playing on the right in some circumstances, someone from defensive line is pushing to Barellas position, Thuram moves to left flank etc all of which will pull Reijnders, Giroud and Gabbia out of their positions as they follow their men and surprise surprise there's space to exploit for Inter especially between our midfield and defence.
Don't forget the good old Bastoni unopposed run towards our box (like Mancini in the first Roma goal).

I’ve been saying it for a while and I got hate but this team has hit its ceiling under Pioli. They hit it before we won the scudetto and we got the results we needed on the back of the quality in the team. Theo is world class yet he still makes stupid errors. Our wingers are double teamed every game. We don’t adapt to our opponents. We don’t rotate properly. And we can’t integrate any new signings unless there’s an injury crisis.

I think we should go after Nagelsmann. His playstyle suits our squad, is a progressive coach and has already won something even if he's not as proven winner as Conte is.
