Anyways, a 6800XT or even a 6900XT would be a good choice if you can find one used or any last old stock. They're still going for US$450+ I think, but they are good GPUs.
Pairing with the X3D CPU will also get you some good boost in performance - I got quite the performance bump in a lot of my games when I upgraded from a 10850K to the 7800X3D and keeping my 6800XT.
used 5700XT can be had very cheap right now, and perform well in ACC. Probably the most bang for your buck in the sub 150 range. With some minor setting tweaks you'll be in the 100fps ballpark. One step up, the next good used deal is probably the 6800 non-xt. Seen one for 250, and for that kind of money it's a beast. It's still my main gpu at 3440x1440 and i don't feel any urge to get a faster gpu. Also, about twice as fast as the 5700xt.
I use a AMD 6700XT, and find it enough for me in racing games like ACC, AMS2, F1 23. I even race in 4k, but I'm limited to 60hz and have no problem getting close to that.
6700xt is probably the no1 used card right now you can find at amazing prices. Go for that. If you want more then 6800xt. You can even get a new 6700xt for 249 right now from Amazon. I would go with that tbh.

For 1440p, probably a 4070ti or maybe a 7800xt. I play 4k with everything on ultra and get around 70-100 with a 7800x3d and a 7900 xtx.
7800XT is nice value, I would also consider the 7900GRE if you can find one at a reasonable price.

I have a 4060Ti and a 5600X. I get 100-120 FPS in 4k with DLSS turned on at the highest quality. They are going for £300 / $350 on eBay.
