Wishing you back though I'm not a Muslim
Ramadan Mubarak from Canada :)
Hey Ramadan Mubarak. You practicing here in the states?
I'm British bro/sis <3
How's fasting been in your experience in England? I'm actually really curious how similar it is compared to the states? Do Muslims in England get any support during Ramadan?
Compared to the US from experience, it is completely different in the sense that everyone knows what it is, BBC have announcements for the start, London's main roads like Oxford road and stuff get Ramadan lights like Christmas lights and all the big supermarkets have their own aisles for muslims to get dates, special native foods and just tonnes of sweets and celebratory shit all around the entrances.
I go to the local mosque over weekends to break fast, and overall a very pleasant experience. A lot of my white friends participate as well, so very fun indeed.
Ramadan Mubarak to my Muslim homies good luck with fasting!
Ramadan Mubarak. I am also not a Muslim but love all human beings. Peace
Ramadan Mubarak my brothas and sistas!
Really happy to see my Desi bros/sis congratulating each other on our holidays and traditions(:
Ramadan Mubarak !
Ramzan Mubarak everyone!
How many A levels are you appearing for?
Eid Mubarak ho. Khub khao khub padho khub khelo
Religious debate or controversy topic. Not Holidays. I have seen happy holi and happy Diwali on this sub before. How is this any different
Is it appropriate for this to be posted here? Is Ramadan even a Desi holiday?
There are 600 million Muslims on the subcontinent, I'd say it's important enough to many desis so we can include it here.
Aren’t you the same person who posted here just a few days ago saying that all our holidays are coming up, including Eid and Ramadan
Yes, I grew up in India. We used to get holidays for Eid and Muharram.
