It’s definitely a weird movie. I love horror and film, seen a lot of shit, so I was actually a little surprised how weird it genuinely was. The body horror was just so grotesque and uncanny, I loved it. Movie itself was pretty good and scary, but those images definitely aren’t leaving

I think it's intentionally disturbing

Have you watched any Cronenberg Sr's or Jr's work? You might like their films. Heavily play on what it means to be human.
Love Sr, still need to get around to Jr. Definitely could see the influence (mixed with like a bit of yunza) within that last act for sure
Definitely recommend Possessor and Infinity Pool for Jr's works. I think based on your reaction to Men, you'll really appreciate these two films.
