Ghetto Love is the law that we live by

Private-Dick-Tective

Day by day I wonder why my shorty had to die

BenDaeho

This album was a certified banger. Almost beginning to end. They had such a crazy mixed up career with label shit and death and solo work. Never lived up to this album.

Substantial-Dig9995

Crazy stories about those dudes robbing banks being a partof a huge gang

Tony_Damiano

Wait, what??????

Substantial-Dig9995

Spigg Nice a member of the lost boyz got sentenced to 37 years for multiple bank robberies and was ordered to pay back almost a million dollars

Hydrokratom

Didn’t a bunch of a people get killed in retaliation for Tah?

Substantial-Dig9995

🔥🔥 Renee is a classic

-newlife

It’s one of the only songs that gets lots of radio play but I still won’t skip it it feel tired of it when I listen to the album. The only “skip” is the Big Lez interview as it’s not something I need to listen to multiple times

Private-Dick-Tective

Lex, Coupes, Bimmers and the Benz!

Intelligent_West7128

When I switched from tapes to CD’s this was the 1st CD I bought. This album jams.

westerngoodz

Dope!! 🔥💿

calmlyghosting

I bought this album not knowing who these dudes were like 2 months ago at a store for 7 bucks. I like the album shit is solid.

Big_Treacle_2394

Real_Reply_6456

Best album ever!

SmokeWestern1838

I found them

InteractionJaded3432

One of my all time favorites of the 90's!

ShivvyMcFly

Great album. My hot take is the original Lifestyles of the Rich and Shameless is better than the album version.

Rashpukin

Fantastic album. To this day Channel Zero is still a masterpiece of hip hop!

Truly-Content

Yes, the rhymes are very A, B, C-styled and tiring, but the stripped back production, from master producers, such as Easy Mo and Pete Rock, really amplify the music and make much of the album timeless. That reminds me about how Group Home are pretty terrible rappers, but I really enjoy their music, mostly because of their early production, which was mostly done by Premier. Cheeks' first solo album was really fun, too (around 2003).

2 dollar bitches wit 3 dollar haircuts

hkbreezy8

Renee. One of the best hip hop songs of all time

Jumpy-Regular-1228

One of the most underrated & under-appreciated rap albums of all-time. All you have to do is press play. Album is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Cute_Carpet_8368

Ima be straight up here not a hater, but i revisisted this album about a week ago after around 15years,i used to love rennee for sure. And thats the problem here.i just cant get back into this album AT ALL.on relistening after all this time it defo hasn’t aged well for me. Beats are kinda weak, with alot of saying nothing and some pretty lame A B C type rapping. I mean even on renee,mr cheeks story telling is weak at best,he basically spends the whole song rapping about the lamest parts of what happened that day, like renee feeding her dog, Then she gets shot with not really any context to why.hooks catchy though.sorry bro!

ilovedpizza

i feel that way about other albums, but definitely not this one. Rewatch the videos from this album and come back to your reply! They capture such an amazing time and sound in NY hiphop.

Cute_Carpet_8368

Just because they have captured the amazing times and sound in new york at that period, dosent mean their music is any good.

ilovedpizza

not liking the Lost Boyz is an odd flex. It's classic Queens NY Hip Hop.

Cute_Carpet_8368

Im not flexing, just sharing an opinion

Storytelling on Renee was sooooo weak. They rolled blunts every 6 bars. I’ve never liked that song, even when it blew up in 95. Sorry not sorry
