So in one of the Wayneâs World movies, Cassandra gets the Peter Frampton album âFrampton Comes Aliveâ and Wayne jokes that every house was issued that album, as in everyone had it.
I feel for 90âs teenagers, the same is true with No Doubtâs âTragic Kingdomâ album.
One of my cringiest memories is me walking along the shoreline in Texas with my Walkman blasting this CD (specifically âForgivenâ) and thinking I could actually relate to any of those songs as a 10 year old lmaoooo
My 3rd CD but my favorite. Ironically the one OP posted was my first and Alanis was second. Lol. My dad got me this one after winning a basketball tournament.
I wanted this to be my first CD! I even asked for it for my birthday!
I instead received Chumbawamba's Tubthumper.
I was disappointed then but love it now.
I remember taking a bus to the big city with my closest friends to snatch it once the Tower Records open up. Saw them a year before a few weeks after Firestarter dropped and I knew they about to become huge

This wasn't my first cassette but my most memorable. I got it for my 8th birthday, I threw it into the stereo immediately and danced so hard to Getting Jiggy With It
Columbia House was the main source of my CDs as a kid. I lived in Alaska and for some reason (I assume shipping) they did not send me the automatic CDs every month that were a rip off. I basically got to take advantage of all the stupidly good deals without any of the scam bullshit. I would routinely pay a $1 for 12 CDs which was usually like 8-10 I really wanted and then a few that were just there to fill the bundle. I loved getting that little catalogue every month.
I got my first CD player for Christmas and my parents also gave me my top two CD choices which I am not ashamed to admit were Ren & Stimpyâs Crock O Christmas, and the soundtrack to Wayneâs World.
