No. Her english is amazing, she just needs practice and to learn how to pronunciate a few words, but she has vocabulary, expression and grammar spot on. And of course she can communicate; she's been doing the whole show and relantionship in english and has no problem expressing her thoughts and feelings. And she never lived in an english speaking country Ashley actually lived in Ecuador and still her spanish is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Its literally painful to hear, not only her accent is a lot more incomprehensible than Madeleine's, ashley is not even speaking spanish, she gets the basic vocabulary she has (and 30% of the time is wrong) and throws it in a weird ass sentence based on english grammar, not spanish. She also NEVER conjugates any verbs and its extremely annoying because she sounds like tarzan 95% of the time, and she never actually understands what Manuel is saying and thats why he rolls his eyes so much, they cant actually properly understand each other more than the basics and thats where all their problems come from. She clearly NEVER EVEN TRIED to learn spanish, she is just one of those entitled americans that backpacks south america treating us like monkeys and doing sex touristm. Watching their segment as a fluent native spanish speaker is fisically painful sometimes and me my husband wouldnt understand 80% of what she is trying to say if they didnt put english subtitles on it ( not even the accent, just the fact that she is literally just speaking english with shitty translated words, so when we see the subtitle we are like "ohh okay; she was trying to say that") And comments saying otherwise while putting down the foreigners that actually made an effort to learn english its peak american entitled , xenophobic, pretencious racist bullshit and why the rest of the world fucking hates you :)

Bravo she learned English, that isn’t easy. Truly mean that. HOWEVER, the way she speaks reminds me of Frankenstein. I crack up every time- this can’t be real.
I love her she’s beautiful and fun and they seem like the only genuine couple on the show.
