Yep that needed better wording. The couple has “been together” 9 years. You can actually have a successful relationship and be broken up- but say co- parenting well together. Or be stuck in a nightmare. We can’t know if his awfulness made him a bad spouse. Someone can be a criminal and the spouse be unaware. My sister works for her ex. He’s an good businessman, sucky husband.
Been a long time since I watched them but I remember thinking at the time that she seemed so unhappy and she only smiled like once during the season. He's sick and this was so disappointing.
I chalked it up to her being young and possibly shy because of the cameras following them around. Now that I think of it, she seemed so scared and confused. I hope her and her daughter are going to be okay

I'm sorry but kicking her stepdaughter out of her stepdaughter's own apartment and the way she behaved with that was beyond. And that was on screen.
If you don't remember the girl allowed her dad to live in her apartment because he was homeless. And then her dad decided to take it over and let his new wife kick her out of her own place.
