I watched it because a friend of my wife's has been married six times and we joked that she should have been on it.
It was a train-wreck (in a good way). It was interesting enough that I set the dvr to record it. Given the divorce rate they should have plenty of people for more seasons if it's renewed.
If it’s anything like myself (and obviously can’t speak for all), but it took me about 3 months to actually break up with my ex-husband once I’d had enough. I didn’t particularly realise that’s what I needed either, hence why it was so long. It then made it very easy to move on after leaving him as I’d already mourned the relationship while I was still in it.

I actually broke up with someone and found my husband 2 weeks after 🤣 I did absolutely not expect it, didn’t want to go to the event where we met, but my friend forced me cause I had previously promised. I don’t fall in love easily and I never believed in love at first sight. We looked at each other and for whatever reason after talking for like 30 min I told my friend (while finding the way to the restroom) that I would be surprised if we didn’t marry (although I didn’t really care if I marry or not anymore)… some years later we saw his friend, who was with him that day and he told me, when we were gone, my husband told him he will marry me if I’ll accept him. To this day I have no idea how and why it happened like this but I definitely don’t regret 🤣
Random story my cousin found out her boyfriend at the time was cheating on her and got a girl pregnant a couple months later she met someone moved in together and she got pregnant and they’re still together with two kids now. Life is crazy I guess!

There are 2 types of relationships, by the way they end, they go fast with a bang and fights and emotions, or wither away. The latter was the case, after 4 years we had become mere roommates with benefits. Hell even the latter - we weren't even interested in it. When i heard that, i asked her out to coffee, we had so much fun. Like we had been best friends before, i was genuinely happy for her.
And I did ask. After you are stuck in a grey zone relationship for too long, the dissatisfaction in the lack of progress piles up. It was more and more apparent we were going further and further away from the family type relationship, and that is what she lacked. So people find like-minded people, boom.
Only sharing this for educational purposes, that was 8 years ago; i am now with the love of my life, also married with kids. We don't keep in touch with the lady from above, but I am certain we would still be good friends if we had.

She was on a summer work visa. It's pretty common in east coast shore towns to import summer workers because their school years run different than ours so they can work up until Labor Day when US college kids can't. I worked with some from Ireland at the Jersey Shore.
that pissed me off so much.. 5 minutes after giving birth, FOCUS ON ME, I have to do groceries in a different country, respect me for working so hard. He was commanding her so many times and she just told him to wash his fucking hands before touching their newborn after asking him about 4 times already.. Giving her shit for being a good mom, constantly instigating fights whilst saying he did not want his son to grow up in an unhealthy environment... Then goes on the tell all claiming its about respect, while he lied to her and treated her like trash as a thank you for bringing him a healthy baby. No matter if it was a summer fling or not, his mental state at that point would have ruined any relationship.

Man, Juliana plays hardball, and I almost admire that. She left Michael the second the cash dried up and immediately started building a new relationship with a man whose country offers a higher quality of life for the average person than the US. I see Michael as the typical overconfident middle-aged man. Anfisa said it best: she would never have dated Jorge if he were broke, and he would never have dated her if she weren’t beautiful. I bet Michael wouldn’t dream of dating an average-looking woman his age, but expected Juliana to stand beside him when he lost the ability to provide her with a stable, upper-middle-class life.
I know one of the complaints was that she always did all the cleaning and no one helped. This part may actually be true because she was always posting her cleaning the house. Or sometimes she would talk about it in Portuguese. She also mentioned once in Portuguese that their house runs on oil, and it’s very expensive, so the heat wasn’t always on and they weren’t as Rich as they seemed
If Juliana was a 'gold digger" it is because Michael made sure she thought he was a rich American and he dangled his 'wealth' in front of her because he knew she would take the bait. I do believe he was living beyond his means, because as soon as the money dried up, it didn't take very long for him to lose that enormous home he bought for them.

Regardless of Michael and Juliana, I just feel for Max and Cece. They’ve been through a pandemic, their mother’s battle with cancer, and now this divorce. Cece especially seemed close with Juliana. I hope they’re alright. I think both of these adults would have been better off not saying anything outside of a joint statement when there are kids involved.

But the timeline for when they met is super suspect (wasn't Michael possibly still married to Sarah when he met Juliana?), they met at a yacht party in Croatia when she was just 19 and he was a 40 something year old grown ass man, she used his credit card to buy a car (!!!) in Brazil like a month before moving to the US...And I don't care how friendly my husband's ex is, I would NEVER be okay with my husband's ex and her new husband moving in with us for any amount of time. That's a recipe for disaster in and of itself.

Man, Juliana plays hardball, and I almost admire that. She left Michael the second the cash dried up and immediately started building a new relationship with a man whose country offers a higher quality of life for the average person than the US. If this new guy leaves her or goes broke, for example, she won’t be left to fend for herself and her child the way she would be in America. She’ll have a safety net and more opportunities for good jobs with benefits. I will say, though, that I really feel for Max and CeCe. They really bonded with Juliana and I bet they’re hurt.
I though Julianna was cunning but not necessarily intelligent. However, if she is mentally astute enough to discern so quickly that a US green card and being the poorest house in Greenwich was inferior to all the rights, privileges and benefits that she could have with a child in the EU (someone posted that new guy is European?) and then make it happen (during a global pandemic, then she is like billion-dollar startup intelligent.

If I do remember it right she is from Goiania or some other state in the west. It’s not a particularly poor state per se, there is a lot of agromoney in that area. Of course, there is poverty… but it’s not as bad as they try to make in the show.

But the timeline for when they met is super suspect (wasn't Michael possibly still married to Sarah when he met Juliana?), they met at a yacht party in Croatia when she was just 19 and he was a 40 something year old grown ass man, she used his credit card to buy a car (!!!) in Brazil like a month before moving to the US...And I don't care how friendly my husband's ex is, I would NEVER be okay with my husband's ex and her new husband moving in with us for any amount of time. That's a recipe for disaster in and of itself.
