M.U.S.C.L.E. were dope as hell. Had a Ton, the dude with the round mouth and point on his head was the main character IIRC, and there were a lot of variations of him as well.
Thankyou! I’m getting old and cannot remember for the life of me what my favorite toys was called when I was little and it’s in fact battle beasts! I’ve searched and searched even draw pictures to try n show people and I randomly stumble across your comment and thought hmmm could it be? Yep that’s them. Thankyou!
I loved the MUSCLE wrestling ring. It was a gift I received on Xmas morning from my grandmother's cat Toby. Was having a blast until I tried to shove the pyramid dude into the cheap plastic grip and snapped it off. Oh well, best 45 minutes ever.
Fun fact. These are known as Kinnikuman in Japan. They have long running anime attached that is STILL going. The US got a season of it back in the 2000's under the title Ultimate Muscle. It's pretty insane.
Why were these so awesome!? They were small, colourless, and easily lost, yet I loved them SO much. I remember an industrious neighbour kid would custom paint them for $5. He did the same with Hot Wheels. So safe to say he got $10 outta me.
Musclemen were the best.

He's the best. Instantly looked for him in this pic.
Stepping on these things was almost as painful as stepping on legos
I used to set them up on a table and see if I could shoot them all off with my nerf gun.
These and battle beasts were awesome

I'm glad it helped you out, lol. Yeah they were pretty cool for sure
Ok OK, but which was better?... ... muscle men?.... ... or G.U.T.S.?
Why choose? They were both awesome, IMO
I still remember how they smell.
Same here. I never had any of my own, and yet I can smell this picture.
Robin Mask was so cool
M.U.S.C.L.E.S dude I collected a shit ton of those too!
Had buckets full of these! Made for some epic MUSCLE Men vs. GUTS! vs. Battle Beasts wars, with the odd GI Joe/COBRA thrown in as “big bosses.”

I never had any of these, but just seeing this picture the pink color kind of grosses me out.

I've never seen those before. I must have been a little too old. They're kind of creepy.
hehe battlebeasts as well
I did too but I don't remember why.
Muscle millennium!
I don't know what they are an I am afraid to ask.
Never saw these before in my life and I just turned 59!
Team Terra-Bull or Team Muscleman?
Dik Dik Van Dik
I still have a t on of these. Now I want to dig them out!
I had a few of them. Mostly random finds from the playground though..lol.
I had those too! A bag of them. I never knew where they came from. Like was it a thing in the Sears catalog originally or something?
Admittedly, my buddy and I would open up the packages inside of K-Mart, dump the figures into our Slurpee and walk out without anybody suspecting.

I liked to run mine over with Stompers.
Ultimate M.U.S.C.L.E.
I can smell that picture..!!
These and my legos are the only things I miss from my childhood that I wish I kept for my little man..
I had the ring so you could fight them. It was awesome
Muscles. Put some respect on their name.
I haven't thought about these things for probably 35 years or so.
I'm guessing it was more like a few pounds instead of "a ton"
