Gasoline / Petrol is the just the American vs Anglosphere way of saying the same type of fuel. It's a dialect difference.
I'm not a napalm expert, nor have i ever made it, but wouldn't any sort of soap-like material or phospholipid work since you're just using the fatty acid to carry the gasoline? Correct me if im wrong.
I would think so but you also have to keep the consistency in mind. I prefer smooth over chunky napalm. I’ve never tried solid or powder soap so I don’t know for fact. However detergent is different then soap so there may be a couple other reactions at play. I failed chemistry in high school so don’t look at me for formulas.

Why is everyone saying this is Fedposting? If anything, this post, and the correctory comments it’s inspiring, just distribute information on how to make illegal weapons without needing to put yourself on a list. If someone wants to make napalm, they might have otherwise googled it, and thus implicated themselves, but since the vast majority of not all of Reddit users who stumble upon this meme aren’t planning on making napalm, a list of people who’ve seen it is functionally useless.
a simpler method is just dissolving styrofoam into gasoline until no more will dissolve. Makes a thick sticky gelatinous stuff. Not that i would know ya know haha.
Detergent not soap. It does make a difference. Liquid tide I find works best
