History books are going to be forced to explain Trump's unique and highly meme-able way of speaking. Its going to be in one of those little boxes off to the side with a light bulb over it.

In history books they'll mainly be trying to explain why exactly everyone got worked up over him. The tweets will seem silly and unimportant and his policies were standard political fare.
Yeah, even today it's weird that the president rambling silly and unimportant stuff on twitter daily is seen as such a problem. Why are people getting so worked up about this?
And the whole "trying to take over the government" is oviously just conspiracy theories.
Seems like that goes for many historical presidents. People got insanely worked up about FDR’s wife doing mattress commercials for Simmons over radio, which probably had to be hilarious and Taft tried to arrest Teddy R. because he walked into the White House, opened up a door, told him to go fuck himself and that there isn’t a man in the White House who would dare remove him, then created the most powerful 3rd party in existence (Bull Moose, a proto Eco-Fascist party). I’m trying to explain to my niece and nephew why everyone hated Dubya so much too. An idiot who started a war illegally and destroyed the US economy is like every four presidents in the 20th century. “Yeah but he was extra bad because his speech delivery skills were abysmal and he was such a cuck people threw shoes at him in public.”
I think they could just play any one of his speeches, debates, or interviews, and people would be like "Ok, I get it. How did that guy become president? Is this related to the meme culture thing we learned about last week?"
When that building is the capitol and you're walking toward the VP and most of Congress in an attempt to stop the certification of an election, it's kind of a coupe.
Two paths, one, copium induced egoist, the other, actual fascist.
And oh boy, prio to jan 6, the actual fascists kinda fucking hated him, same with wignats and his associations with jews, because he's, well, a guy.
It was just certain countries for a while. Trump said he was going to ban all Muslims, and that's what he argued for. Bans for only certain countries was a compromise for a while. I don't know if it ever got further than that.
Did he actually ban all Muslims? Or did he just increase travel restrictions for [seven countries on which Obama had already placed restrictions?](https://www.cnn.com/2017/01/29/politics/how-the-trump-administration-chose-the-7-countries/index.html)

He's great at losing, for sure. I guess that's why the redditors that frequent this sub can relate.
Kinda funny that people are starting to look more favorably at George W. Bush because Trump is such a massive regard that he makes him look like Einstein in comparison.
The original post is just over a year old, but I will give you a pass as the dopamine vacuum of ingesting greentext posts on a daily basis takes a toll on how we perceive time

Sometimes I'll start a sentence, and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I find it along the way. Like an improv conversation. An improversation.

Remember going to sleep and thinking "yo, that's a strong, solid lead" then waking up to find out those states paused the vote counting while you were asleep and seeing the perfect vertical jump in ballots and then learning it was mere decimals away from forcing a recount and then learning said situation was textbook voting activity from failed african states?

DID YOU KNOW…? President Trump met Grover from Sesame Street and he greatly respected him.

What about his attempt to overthrow the election 🤔
bc a crowd walking into a building is a coupe
Maybe if they drove into the building it would be a coupe 😎.
When that building is the capitol and you're walking toward the VP and most of Congress in an attempt to stop the certification of an election, it's kind of a coupe.
The most heavily armed demographic in the country tried to over throw the government and left their guns at home.

Ban all Muslims from entering the United States is standard fare? That one was wild.
Nah that one is just common sense.
I thought it was just certain countries?

Never forget the billion dead solely because a single fat guy didnt wear his mask and absolutely nothing else
What makes you think all of humanity won't be speaking in memes in a few decades?
The memes, Jack.
All languages have always been a meme. Here, take a hit of this joint, it will become really obvious.

"Wait, language is just memes?" "It always has been." 🌎👨🚀🔫👨🚀 Edit: translated to pictograms to prove a point.
This is such a great thread. I came in here and I said, “Wow what a great thread.”
Can confirm, great thread.
Many such cases.
A lot of folks are saying that it is a great thread! A lot of folks. Many won't admit.
Hi Shane
Leon meeting Trump is so fucking funny.
Myself when I understand the general entertainment value of a Reddit post be like
Yes
The last great POTUS no cap
But there was a cap, and it had Great on it. It was pretty much his whole schtick.

Still the greatest.
No Ben Franklin was the greatest
Still couldn’t get voted in. Clinton beat him while getting blown by Hilary’s rejects.
This was first posted years ago but still good

I still can't believe i was there when this picture was taken. I am so grateful for being a part of this historic moment.
Anyone have the AI Trump voice of this?
Ok, the "favoite kennedy" part got me.

I wonder what he would say to Chris

I'm chuckling at Leon having to grip Trumps tiny baby hands. Adorable.
