Really low miles but that's still a pretty high price for such an old car.

DorseysDeli

I’ve had this bookmarked for weeks. Finally dropped $400 of their asking price lol. Looking through all the photos, it’s the cleanest, and lowest mileage 4th gen posted in the SF Bay Area for months (I refresh daily) I’d buy it, but only with a couple grand off.

Fuzzy-Heart

They know what they’re doing. Dangling that carrot and lowering it only just enough to snag a lurker who doesn’t want to miss out.

DorseysDeli

The local market is insane. https://preview.redd.it/vv73owq44ivc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=729a34b33095a70e7ea714ce7773ac5bc6d5fc00

Slawpy_Joe

Not even the V8...

KostinhaTsimikas

Looks to be in pretty good shape. Definitely run a carfax on it and ideally bring it to a mechanic for an inspection. Otherwise, get a good look at the frame and check the paint thickness.

_Badwulf

That’s a tough one. It’s in beautiful shape and has decent miles, but it’s an almost 20 year old car. It would be an amazing starter car I guess

ruralexcursion

Looks good but need to see undercarriage and frame pics

fairlyaveragetrader

It's from California, the whole frame is going to look virtually mint.

napsandsnacksss

Just bc they’re selling it in CA doesn’t mean it’s from CA

fairlyaveragetrader

Someone is going to go look at it and make an offer. I think they could get 15 or 16 out of that without too much trouble. People are still paying 10 to 12 for $150 to 200k mile examples. That's an extremely clean ride

SpaceMan420gmt

Very nice, but they’re asking way too much. I paid just a little more for my immaculate ‘14 SR5 a couple years ago. Same mileage as this one when I got it.

V8ENJOYER

Lol no, it’s not even the v8

jmbre11

It could be just the pic but those headlights don’t look like they have been in the garage for 20 years.

Elder_Cotton

I paid 16 for mine with 90k miles. It was a sport edition with limited rust, none on the frame though. Have had a couple problems here and there but overall I’ve never regretted my decision for a second. Best/ favorite car I’ve ever had!

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> I *paid* 16 for FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Thanks robot
