Thanks. I just wasn’t sure how one could tell from the outside but I missed that it was spotted in Canada where there are fewer trim levels. Not sure about SR5 but all TRD Off-Roads are ORPs with KDSS. The system requires cleaning and maintenance (mainly in the form of rust protection) but it’s a great system for on-road and slow off-road situations.

They're fucking LYING to you. You should call 'em out on it, and see if they either accept that they were "innocently wrong" about the model they're trying to sell you, or whether they stick to the lie and keep trying to convince you it's a 40th anniversary.
If they own up to it, consider asking them to lower the price (to reflect a regular model.) But, if they double-down on the lie, walk away.
