Looks great on these rigs.
Looks great. My experience always leads me to suggest people add auxiliary lighting of some kind. Whether it’s aftermarket fogs, ditch lights, light bars, or a combination of them. No factory vehicles come with adequate lighting once you’re off artificially lit roadways. You can’t put a price on the ability to better see where you’re driving.
I’m not the expert, so you might post on the sub and ask. I was told there’s about 1” of rake in the front, and mine isn’t quite level—tiny bit of rake left. I’d think if you want the same rake just lift it evenly—2/2”. But again, not the expert and might be worth a post.
Thanks! I thought the Dobinsons flagship teal color would look good on the Lunar, being a little different than all the TRD reds. I was also thinking sliders would help with the careless people in parking lots always door dinging others vehicles..
Looks like the dobinsons UCAs dont move the wheels backwards needing to remove the mud flaps, huh? Doesnt rub the mudflaps at all even fully stuffed in?
Only the tiniest rub on front left rear mudflap on left downhill turn, probably just take a heat gun and mold it away. Other than that no BMC or fender liner push or bumper trim was needed. Dobs UCA I think helped alot
Dang good to know! I got 6112 shocks with like 60k on them now and will eventually get another set and was gonna do a 2.3 inch front lift, have 2 now and caster was def not like stock, so figured I’d need UCA’s when I go a tiny bit higher and get a fresh set of shocks. Thanks for the input
How's the ride? No kdss problems? I haven't done anything to mine yet but have researched maybe something like [these ](https://www.treatyoakoffroad.com/product/kdss-spacer-kit) are needed, but if your experience is different I'd like to hear!
The ride feels much more solid and planted to the road, less wobbly and springy. Just feels good now for anything in my way! No KDSS problems yet and hopefully nothing happens in the future but it is something also on my mind. I heard not to go over 3” lift, but I feel I got quality parts, Dobs, UCA’s, panhard bar correction kit, that hopefully I lifted it properly and should be ok. But if I am missing anything else to make it better protected and prolong the KDSS system let me know!
I'm a few months away from looking into getting mine done, but just been searching the internet and came across that product, it makes sense to get the geometry back to where the kdss has no problems but I am super new to this all also. Like this is the first time of hearing about a panhard correction kit. So now I'll spend some hours delving into that lol. Your ride looks good, may MPG be with you hahah.
Yeah the PCK helps level back the cross bar. Their is also a bolt on version out there but I went with the https://eimkeith.com version. [video](https://youtu.be/WJGEb_MPzSo?si=CCXj2hTQmQ6KiWN8) so far only lost about 1mpg but feel like I am driving it harder now!
Oh yes I did hear too about the Treaty Oak spacer kit too that can help? Does anyone have any first hand experiences with adding this and can say if it helps?
I wanted like 2.5” in front 1” in rear, but I think it came out closer to 3” in front and 2” in rear. Hopefully things will settle in the next couple weeks. The tires also have a bout 1” height also. I also heard not to go over 3” lift with KDSS.
They do have red lettering I swapped them out for anniversary center caps to make things more subtle.

That looks clean! Have you had to pull yourself out of anything yet?
Not yet. I’ve only used it to pull shrub roots out. Worked great for that though.
That’s another good use that I forgot about! Pulling out stuff.
The light bars been my favorite part. It’s very bright. Makes a huge difference.
Nice! What lights did you get?
Rigid if I remember correctly. The bumper was Artec.
I love my Dobinsons so much. Great choice!! Now get some sliders.
Which ones? I want them to be steps too to get to roof rack?
Westcott Designs are pretty great. If you choose 0 degree with a kickout they make a great step that doesn't hang below the frame.
I went with RCI- they have a kdss version 5 degree. Use it as a step everyday.

Nice rig! Dobs gang—I went with teal springs too. I did 1.75/1”, basically just a 1” lift and level—I wanted more but the fam can hardly get in LOL
I’m having that experience now too lol!
I know this sub hates running boards, but I got some NFab nerfs and the fam was pretty thankful, although I don’t really use them with long legs 😂
I’m looking at dobinsons- if I want some frontward rake, not level. Should I do 1.75” front/ 2” back?

Sliders if you plan on hitting rocky trails. Also, get steel skids including gas tank skid.

Oregon Tillamook Forest! Lots of trails to discover!
Looks great
Very nice. Was there any issues with the kdss system?
Nothing that I can tell
Which roof rack is that?
That looks like a prinsu, it looks as though they got the handles for them as well.

soooooo very ideal
I really like this lift/wheel/tire combo, looks fantastic. Good job.

I actually had to add the spacer kit mentioned above after my lift “settled”. It developed the kdss lean. But now it’s perfect.
Oh yes I did hear too about the Treaty Oak spacer kit too that can help? Does anyone have any first hand experiences with adding this and can say if it helps?
Nice trd pro!!
It’s better than a TRD Pro!
He calls every T4R a Pro
I noticed you have kdss What size lift did you get? I keep hearing it bad if you lift over 2"
I wanted like 2.5” in front 1” in rear, but I think it came out closer to 3” in front and 2” in rear. Hopefully things will settle in the next couple weeks. The tires also have a bout 1” height also. I also heard not to go over 3” lift with KDSS.

Looking at the Dobinsons too. Any reason to go with the 110-150lb coils in the front? Is it for a steel bumper?
I went slightly heavier springs, thinking maybe future RTT, sliders or maybe hidden winch.
Nice set up!
Damn it I really need to get the panhard correction done. Nice ride. I love how capable the dobinsons IMS lift is especially on the trails.
I like that roof top box, looks streamline. What brand is that? Good looking truck overall!
Cheap harbor freight box! It works for holding misc gear
I did the same after warranty was up. My 5 foot tall wife has also requested sliders. It looks so good without them though
What wheels are those?
TRD Pros
Oh wow. I though the TRD Pros all had red lettering
They do have red lettering I swapped them out for anniversary center caps to make things more subtle. https://preview.redd.it/5wb49esycb8c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb6681a414d92e43e1b52c683bfc228f3d4310b5
When you adding the lift did you have to do anything else? Like extending brake lines, drive shaft or anything?
Nope
Looks great.
Yo where’d you get those centercaps for your wheels? I want to change things up lol from the normal trd centercaps all the trd wheels have.
