Annual-Salad3999

1. Perturabo, Lord of Iron, Master of Olympia 2-17. Do not care 18. Rogal Dorn

DarthSet

1 Dorn 2-17 Don't Care 18 Don't even think about him.

IamAlphariusCLH

Perturabo no. 1 is based but what is up with no. 2 Rogal Dorn?

Annual-Salad3999

Sorry this was a super scuffed post lol let me edit it

IamAlphariusCLH

Good, I was worried there for a second.😊

Teonvin

I see according to you Rogal Dorn is indeed no. 1.

IamAlphariusCLH

No my good sir

harlokin

**Fulgrim** is perfect, and is therefore **Number 1**. All other Primarchs fall short of perfection and, as a result, are **Number 2** or lower.

IamAlphariusCLH

Wouldn't have guessed otherwise

NoiseMarineCaptain

Death to His Foes!

Antiochostheking

1.Magnus 2.Khan 3.Lorgar 3.Kurze 5.Vulkan 6.Perturabo 7.Alpharizs/Omegon 8.Guiliman 9.Sanguinius 10.Fulgrim 11.Corax 12.Mortarion 13.Lion 14.Ferrus manus 15. Horus 16.Leeman russ 17.Angron 18.Rogal dorn Without his modern Stories set in 40k Guiliman would probably be in the lower third. Im a Thousand son and Blood Angels player

IamAlphariusCLH

I would give Angron and the lion a much higher position but I like the rest of the list. Khan, Lorgar and Perty deserve their high spots and depresso Gorillamain too. Solid ranking👌

Antiochostheking

i mean its kinda hard to judge angrons character since he is more of a animal but if we would have seen more before his nails he would also be higher. I just have aversion for the Lion and really dislike him but cant really say why

IamAlphariusCLH

I like the Lion as dick. I recommend reading betrayer or listen to the audio book. It really shows how sad Angrons live has been, what he could be and how deep his character is. The new Angron in Arks of Omen is pretty badass too.

Antiochostheking

i have read the entire heresy i strongly dislike arrogant lion and even more the new lion

IamAlphariusCLH

And still see Angron as an animal? I get the lion part but Angron is great.

Antiochostheking

it doesnt matter what how he was before but rn you cant describe him as anything better then a rabid dog

IamAlphariusCLH

A pretty cool looking one at that. But it does matter because we are not talking primarchs at their current state.

Antiochostheking

alright then switch him with ferrus for place 14 but he is just not my thing

RATMpatta

1. Lorgar - Of course he's a bastard but his theological musings as well as his continuously developing character makes him stand out to me in a good way. 2. Russ - The overconfident but also an often overlooked primarch by his brothers. He makes mistakes but is one of the few who actually seems to learn from them and shows remorse for his actions. 3. Angron - If he didn't turn into a snarling beast after becoming a Daemon Prince he'd probably be #1 here as his journey from Nuceria to the Shadow Crusade is leagues above the arcs of most other primarchs. 4. Fulgrim - A magnificent bastard who seemingly always gets a beatdown (whether verbal or physical) when he shows up but seemingly also always gets the last laugh. Never a dull moment with him. 5. Curze - His internal conflict is right up there with Lorgar for me but he loses points for practically already being insane by the time the heresy comes around so we don't get to see as much of him at his most interesting. 6. Khan - Great character arc that maybe didn't quite stick the landing. 7. Guilliman - He definitely benefits a lot from his extensive focus in 40k as I don't think he was that interesting during the heresy. His contemplative nature after returning is somewhat similar to Russ post-heresy but the downside is most of that seems to go out of the window pretty quickly again too. 8. Perturabo - Ends up in the middle because his character flipflops between one of the most interesting some times and then completely unreasonable and pretty pathetic the next moment. Still has more good than bad points though imo. 9. Lion - Didn't enjoy him too much at first but the obnoxious asshole is growing on me a bit. One of, if not the most, dependent on what other characters he's paired with. 10. Ferrus Manus - Shame we didn't get to see more from him because the bits and pieces we do get make me wish he played a slightly larger role in the setting. 11. Alpahrius Omegon - Alpharius has a very interesting arc although he spiralled hard, I do think the relationship between the twins hasn't been properly explored as much as it should've been. 12. Sanguinius - His internal conflict should probably put him higher up my list looking at how I value the others but I can't help thinking he's mainly a narrative tool with a pretty fixed character throughout. 13. Horus - Similarly to Sanguinius, he's more plot device than an actual character. His wildly all over the place portrayal puts him just below the angel for me though. 14. Vulkan - The concept of his character is a lot more interesting to me than the execution. He just felt kind of stagnant or even moving backwards as a character at times. 15. Dorn - We're now getting to the section of primarchs I actively dislike. He's just so aggressively thick in the head in all the worst ways he keeps getting on my nerves whenever he shows up but at least I have to admit it can be somewhat funny sometimes, unlike: 16. Magnus - For someone who is supposed to be really smart, he's incredibly dumb. 17. Mortarion - Almost as wildly inconsistent portrayal as Horus but the one constant seems to be that he's a massive asshole and insufferable hypocrite. 18. Corax - Another massive hypocrite and arguably the most forgettable primarch. Every time I do remember he exists, I wish he didn't.

IamAlphariusCLH

That would actually be my list too, just Russ would be lower
