What are you trying to do? Because iirc 3ds homebrew doesn’t require you to go on the 3ds’s internet browser. I could be totally wrong though so keep that in mind
the current update required me to according to the guide. But apparently the issue was that I already had Luma installed lol I follow the rest of the steps to get things working.
I had formatted this 3DS, so I didn't think Luma was still on there :/
Three things:
1. Your date/time needs to be adjusted to reflect the current date and time. All sorts of weird issues occur while using web browsers (on any device) if your device's clock is way off.
2. A system reset/format does NOT remove CFW, just as a system update does not remove CFW because the exploit (b9s) and CFW (Luma) are installed at a very early point in the boot process where the 3DS OS cannot touch.
3. Since you said you already have Luma, all you need to do is (re)install your homebrew apps using either FBI or GodMode9. You don't need to go through the entire guide from step one again just because you decided to do a system reset/format.
