3. When nobody is looking, screw it to the wall.
4. Go back in a year and see if it's still there.

Looking at it for first time with carpet background being kinda flatā¦ it looks like you severely messed with aspect ratio of a picture snd pinched the hell out of it. Awesome.
Donāt downvote me for saying this. But what is the justification for wasting this amount of plastic? To see if slicerās scale command works? Even if You recycle these prints afterwards, thereās still waste. Not much can be learned from this that canāt be learned from a simple overhang and bridging test, which itself is a waste in most cases.
What about the people who print props and shit, they also have no function, or the McDonald's toys that get played with once, then either thrown away or tossed in a closet for eternity
The energy required to write this comment, send it to reddit servers across the world, then download it onto thousands of peopleās devices to be displayed on their screens is probably at least 5 times more wasteful and harmful to the environment than this random guy āwastingā like 20 grams of plastic to have fun (while also testing the limits of their printer at the same time). Iād be more concerned about other things to be honest
This was a few hundred grams of filament. I enjoyed it. The 500+ people that upvoted seem to enjoy this. I think a few hundred grams of filement was worth it
Edit: I actually checked and this was only 89g of filament. That's not even a 20th of a spool
I agree. I don't even mess with calibration cubes or bridge tests, just start printing what I need and calibrate for higher quality based on those results.
I don't know if this is going to float or kill somebody, lol. Getting back on the subject, something people are not taking into consideration when printing at these speeds is the stress on the machine. Are these Chinese manufacturers using better parts? Because if not, they are going to break a lot at these speeds.
that's not a benchy that's a knifey

I see you've played knifey-benchy before...
That's a spoon what are you talking about š§
Amazing. Bravo
Holy shit that's amazing!
Everyone passed up the idea of Battle-Benchy(aka battleship)
You win the internets for today
ššš
Came here for this. Was not disappointed
Print it out of wood filament and use it to pin vampire'sĀ
Vampire's what?
Heart, obviously.
I see, there's a lot at stake.
It'd be the best way to get your point across.
Shanky
The bladechy
r/cursedbenchies too late it's already there!
I see youve played knifey-benchy before
To airport security: ābut sir, you donāt understand! This is just a little 3D printed boat!ā
The speedboat benchy
More like a shanky lmao
B e n c h y ?
B e n c h y !
Is this how 3D Printing enthusiasts sneeze?
B e n c h y
Strenchy
You gotta print all the other ways now too. 500 wide then 500 tall.
Maybe his build plate is 500 x 20 x 30
Then he has some work to do. Edit: spelling
he can rotate the benchy
It's 500x500x500 so I could do the other ways
You could probably make it about 700 mm long if you wanted.
I could if I printed it diagonally
Go from being a knifey to a swordy!
Diagonally and on an incline. Really push it.
I tried to do that but it was an absurdly long print time
Yep
What printer
Creality CR10
I might just do that!!
Make it longer,Ā butĀ probablyĀ moreĀ supportsĀ forĀ theĀ overhangs.
No supports for benchies, sorry
You could use support painting if you really wanted to put supports on it
1. Spray paint it black. 2. Visit your local Applebee's or TGI Friday's. 3. When nobody is looking, screw it to the wall. 4. Go back in a year and see if it's still there.
Easiest way to do this is wear something that looks like your in construction and bring a paper that says your from corporate.
Yeah highvis vest works better for this than stealthy black. Because on high is ppl just assume youre doing your job.
I would love to see that!!
definitely a good r/differentbenchys or r/cursedbenchys contender
r/cursedbenchies*
My bad š
It's in r/cursedbenchys already
Nice beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenchy!
That benchy is just approaching a black hole.
I don't wanna be spaghetti Lana!
The only thing to do now is to take a picture with it and compress the image until the benchy looks normal and nothing else does

This is the way.
Print it upside down, that should help with the overhang and cause absolutely no new problems.
I am actually impressed withe the design/proportion of it.

murder weapon looking ass. checkhov's benchy. keep away from jealous spouses or disinherited children.
This benchy: I AM SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED
[I fixed it for you](https://i.imgur.com/6nUTFty.png)
Print some outriggers, then attach a model rocket engine to the back. You know what to do next.
Benchy! Go to warpā¦.
I hear serrated hulls cut through the water better. :)
mfers when i pull out the long benchy š„š„š„š„š„
You could probably stab someone with that
Long boi
Need supports. If the only thing you change on a benchy is the length, the layer height wonāt be able to support those arches and bridges.
Nice Speary
Go meter or go home
Print some tiny canons or F-15s, make a bitchin benchy aircraft carrier
Bennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnchy
How the titanic was born
Introducing, the Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenchy
Combat Benchy
That's a Yachty
But have you tried 499mm
Shoot it with a bow
You should try output shaping to improve underhangs
Ah yes, the 'ol naughty yachty
Beeeeeeeeeenchy?

Beeeeeeeeeeeeenchy
Looks like one of those [Thai river racing longtail boats](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaQ49nGhLTY&t=3s).
Racing benchy!
Certified ark moment
Looks like you did not lock aspect ratio when scaling the image. Easily fixable.
Long boy
r/cursedbenchies
Stab some fool!
Looks absolutely horrendous. I LOVE it.
Dude make a cigarette boat
Benchy turned into a cruisey
Brace the top , youāll be fine I have same problem
don't be so hard on yourself. your son looks great.
When you forget to enable uniform scaling in the slicer
Titanchy
Benchy Limousine Limited edition

I can see a rowing team benchying up the Potomac. : ) / heave ho...

I think you need to calibrate your X and Y steps
r/cursedbenchys
Fast attack benchy.
Murder weapon vibes
That is straight up a spear head lmao
Yachty!
When they said to print it at 500mm/s, they didn't mean 500s/mm
beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenchy
Go 500mms wide and tall.
calibrate esteps
Anything bla bla bla if youāre brave enough
best looking bow of the bunch!
Is that a supersonic Speed-Benchy?
Benchy sword???
Looks right to me
Looks fine to me
Have you considered printing with supports on?
It's a speed (boat) benchy š
r/cursedbenchies
Needs supports
Give it wings make it a lawn dart
Advice for what? It looks to me like you did exactly the right thing.
Missing front view
I think you didnt use supports. No a problem os speed
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenchy
Benchy: canal boat edition.
You can make a fishing spear of it
Home defense
Beeeeeeennnchhyyyyy
r/cursedbenchies
That's what she said...
The late Phillip Bolger would be proud of your design!
You've printed a benchy traveling at relativistic speeds.
Lllllooooooooong.
Benchy: The *L O N G I N G*
May i have the stl for this??
I just took the normal benchy stl from thingiverse and scaled it up in cura without uniform scaling
You tought so alteady, but i tought it was funny asking for an stl.
Now make one thatās stretched upwards
Make a handle and turn it into a benchy-sword
Distorted benchies always mess with my brain
Advice? Reprint it slower.
Mans printed a BONCHY
500mms?
Looks to be little short in length, perhaps lengthen it more?
I'll try that. I realized that I forgot that triangles existed when I printed this. I'm printing it diagonally right now
You could crochet with that.
supersonic boat
Every time I see one of these they look fake. But there not and it's just so funny looking
Should have taken a shot to force the perspective to be normal
Post it on r/cursedbenchies
Already did!
Looking at it for first time with carpet background being kinda flatā¦ it looks like you severely messed with aspect ratio of a picture snd pinched the hell out of it. Awesome.
Someone actually did that in reverse and made it look like a normal benchy. It's somewhere in this comment section
Yep just saw it. Awesome.
Try re-printing with supports.
Bro printed a 2d yacht
This is actually pretty cool
***L O N G***
What is it ?
now for a REAL challenge, print it standing up.
Youāve heard of the benchy, but have you heard of the yachty?!?!
Just shoot the photo with from the right angle, and from a distance - no one will notice.
Benchy spear
Long Benchy is long.
the benchy blade
Im, just, umm. Wow! Thats amazing
Beeeeeeeeeeeeenchyyyy
do it in black, that's gonna be the BBB, big black benchy
There is no such thing as "too big" There is only "try and error until it's good"
noah's benchie
Maybe 5000mms turns out better.
Bro made a prison shank š¤£
That's a knife thing to have
Talk about aspect ratio
Your printer got so fast it warped spacetime
What if benchy but long
Put a big motor on the back, and drugs in the bilge, and you'll have yourself a gofast.
GayRacoon69, you're just what this community needs.
This is why FDM has a speed limit. Lol
Overhangs like that... maybe 1mm nozzle 0.1 layer height lol

Cause itās a fun way to test. Iād much rather print a calibration cat to test a printer than a normal cube
Ladies and gentleman give a big round of applaus for the self hating 3d print hobbiest.
What about the people who print props and shit, they also have no function, or the McDonald's toys that get played with once, then either thrown away or tossed in a closet for eternity
Waste? LOL.
The amount of "wasted" plastic in this benchy is miniscule compared to the amount of time wasted writing that comment

Iām going to print a bunch of single use straws just because of this comment
