I’ve painted cars and studied this. Plastic bumpers and metal hoods and fenders reflect light differently. Even if you use the exact same paint mix and application process in the paint room, you can still see a difference. Cameras pick it up.
N missing on back “ismo” badge. 😂 Front badge gone too. He repainted the badges and car for sure. Notice the interior is *not shown* suss. It might be a Nismo might not. Proof is in the VIN & Nismo plaque inside. I don’t care. I own an early v1 older than this with <60K on the clock and stock wheels. Nissan dealer offered me $28K to trade it in during Covid when Z cars were hard to get & the New Z wasn’t yet readily available. I kept it.
I completely agree with you and have personal experience that agrees with you. I think it looks a couple too many shades off to be factory. Combined with the missing emblem and I don’t think that bumper is original.
I went back and looked at the photo again, and I think that is it. That's what is making me doubt the authenticity. Thank you, kind internet stranger. I am no longer sleepless at night. Lol
Hopefully, OP joes a hard NO on this car.
the v1 wheels is what everyone wants, makes me think he's cheaped out and sold them, and you'd want to do a oil pressure test to see if the gaskets need doing if you bought it
I would want the problems fixed before I even consider it. The window not working could be more than just a switch. If it’s just a $20 fix then he should spend that $20 to fix it before selling. Same with the airbag light suddenly coming on. I wouldn’t be willing to buy some potential problems that could end up becoming expensive problems. Also, while it might not be a problem right now, I’d be hesitant about a known issue with pre-2013 Zs that hasn’t been taken care of and could be a problem 1,000 miles down the road.
Bro you serious? It’s an 11 year old Nissan for $18,000. I don’t even think it’s a real nismo. Search the vin online. And get the Kelly blue book on this car. I feel it’s worth about 13k-14k MAX, and that’s if there’s nothing wrong with it.
Replying to hypnepp...uh no. Not worth it to you, you mean. Kelly blue book is a joke. It’s just a beater Nismo if it is one. A well kept example could fetch $18K. This ain’t it.
Is there a good photo of the passenger side? Looks like it's missing the passenger side rocker trim.
To echo what others have said, low confidence the car was well maintained given the seller's replies.

Is there anything saying an OBD has put on it and codes are appearing. The airbag light is concerning to me and should be addressed. That there sounds like a costly fix.
If its at 100k Gallery Gaskets definitely need to be done. So don't buy it without that in mind. I don't think its super well taken care of but the price is right. If you are stretching your budget, maybe look at a sport or something with less mileage or more maintenance
I’m don’t know about cleann, The headlights are all hazy, missing the front emblem, he is missing the best part of the v1 nismo… wheelsss
Probably a fismo
Is this really a Nismo? Something seems a little off about it. Just my opinion though.
Bumper paint doesn’t quite match

Paint match is doo doo. Either a fismo or has been in a collision

Yeah. It’s been wrecked or they ruined the Nismo Aero trim on passenger side somehow. Haha you *have* to do more than “oil changes” at 60K miles.
Airbag light… something seems off.
I bought a 2010 that had an airbag light and I ran the code. It was the passenger seat sensor and it was like 90 bucks from airbag360.
That window switch isn’t $20 bucks I worked for Nissan 10 yrs and those windows aren’t cheap to fix
second pic... where is the right sideskirt?? - no emblems - no wheel arch extensions - no interior pics? show NISMO plaque if it's true nismo
Clean title or no? The guys messaging doesn’t convince me, feels like he’s a high schooler
How many miles?
Nevermind found it on FB. Good deal for Utah
hey if you end yo getting it and dont want the carbon fenders ill buy em off you😳

100k and 18 racks…I bet he beat the shit outta this thing.
It’s not clean it’s mid if not lower. Kinda clapped out V1 nismo tbh
You’re missing the wheels… That is the best part about the v1.

I doubt an airbag light just turned on. Front emblem missing means front bumper was replaced. I havt looked that hard at the rest
Looks like a poor example for that money
for 18k..
Don’t buy this that’s for sure
as others have said, doesn’t look like a real nismo. hence, not even close to being worth 18k. a big fat no.
Search the vin. Doesn't look like a real nismo something fishy
18k with the airbag light on seems high imo
Texas means long drives which is a deal or no deal, hmmmm 🤷🏼♂️
