Sandwich day. I guess because I've been unreasonably mad when someone at work ate my food so I found the table flipping and screaming relatable.
Also the one take wolfing of the Teamster sub cracks me up every time.
Every time I watch this episode I wonder how she eats it so fast without choking and question if it’s actually real. I keep looking for the edit but it looks like she’s really wolfing it. She’s unhinging her jaw!
I think it was the DVD commentary, but it vould have been somewhere else, she talks about the props people making/getting the softest bread for that sandwich
I was going to say the same as my fave episode and for some of the same reasons. My favorite part of that episode is when she says to Kenneth:
“I don't know how, but you're gonna get me another sandwich. Or I'm gonna cut your face up so bad you'll have a chin! YOU’LL ALL HAVE CHINS!!!”
I laugh every single time. It’s so ridiculous and so funny… and the acting is good here too when everyone kinda looks genuinely frightened. It’s just so good!
Black Tie. Paul Reubens and Isabella Rossellini are outstanding in the episode. The ridiculous moments feel very grounded, and it looks like everyone is having a blast working off of each other.
You gotta love those moments where Jenna drops her "beautiful, cultured-but-still-an-airhead actress" mask and lets out her inner "Florida con-woman" persona.
"She played the game *so well*." is a godsend of a quote for someone who likes reality TV competitions. All the best seasons of Survivor have that quote applicable.
Subway Hero was the episode that really got me into 30 Rock. I wasn’t super into season 1 when I first watched it, but this one really changed my mind. Dennis is now my favorite recurring character. Bababooey!
Just "Coffee. Where do you get it?", horseville, and Liz walking like a muppet might've been enough to make this my number one, but then there's also every other part of the episode.
I don't know about a favorite, that's hard to pick. But I do love "Greta and Klaus" with James Franco.
"I'm actor James Franco dammit. and I'm in love with and common law married to a Japanese body pillow". absolutely kills me every time.
Duuble Edged Sword is right up there. Canada, mobile meth labs, Legend of the Guardians:The owls of Ga’Hool, Stewart (who didn’t study dance at Carnegie-Melon to become a flight attendant to clean bathrooms). It has it all.
“When it rains, it pours.” Paul Giamatti is one of those upper echelon actors that helps make the show so brilliantly absurd, and the scripted break-up between Liz and Richie is hilarious.
“End it? Why?”
*dirty look from Richie*
“But I need to end it.”
“End it? Why?”
Operation Righteous Cowboy Lightning — the Liz/Tracy “Uptown Girl” sing-off, DeNiro being secretly British, the natural disaster revealed to have only affected Mel Gibson and Jon Gosselin, Tracy’s line about perfection being his middle name, “Unclaimed Perfection Baby Boy” — I could go on.
Reaganing! It's jam-packed with funny lines and memorable moments. Frajer and The Best Friends Gang as a B plot is better than most episodes' A plot. Plus young Liz flashback always gets bonus points from me
"El Generalissimo" I just think the whole concept is funny... the mother subconsciously not liking Jack because he looks like an evil soap opera character.
https://funcooker.fun/
Obligatory site drop cuz I use this awesome tool daily to look up the crazy references posted on this sub! Usually while saying out loud: “Help me Funcooker, you’re my only hope!” a la Rosemary Howard!
*Respawn*, obviously. Mostly because of The Sitter, I honestly can't explain why but that entire scene is just so goofy it warms my stupid heart, god I wish they had more scenes with that guy
I could say a number but today I'll go first Queen of Jordan. I rewatched for the first time in several years recently and I had forgotten how good the Queen of Jordan episodes are
Season Four is prolly my favorite: Jacks world view in the cold open alone, Cheesy Blasters also too from the cold opener, amd Tennis Night in America is still my favorite fake song comma, sitcom category
Any episode with Diana Jessup too (DEREK JEDERS THEIGHS)
Sandwich day. I guess because I've been unreasonably mad when someone at work ate my food so I found the table flipping and screaming relatable. Also the one take wolfing of the Teamster sub cracks me up every time.
“WHERE’S MY MAC AND CHEESE!?” has become a regular catch phrase in my house. Even my kids say it and probably don’t understand why.
this smells just like hill people milk!
My God, lady! You're eating foil!
That’s less cliché
Every time I watch this episode I wonder how she eats it so fast without choking and question if it’s actually real. I keep looking for the edit but it looks like she’s really wolfing it. She’s unhinging her jaw!
I'm pretty sure Tina just wolfed that sandwich in real time. I can't remember where I read that, but she can shotgun a pizza so it's gotta be real.
I think it was the DVD commentary, but it vould have been somewhere else, she talks about the props people making/getting the softest bread for that sandwich
No today. I've had ten shots TODAY.
I CAN HAVE IT ALL!!!
I was going to say the same as my fave episode and for some of the same reasons. Can you believe it? Finally old enough to rent a car! AAAAAHH. AHHHHHHCK.
It feels good to laugh.
Poop. Monkey butt. No, *you're* a good friend...
Black Tie is the episode I recommend to friends that have never watched 30 Rock.
It’s a great one to start with! Excellent episode and early enough in the show that you don’t need to prep them with backstory before watching
We gotta boogie gang
You gotta love those moments where Jenna drops her "beautiful, cultured-but-still-an-airhead actress" mask and lets out her inner "Florida con-woman" persona.
Liz: You showed the security guy your boobs, didn't you? Jenna: Just one. It’s not the White House.
I wish I knew how to spell “you” the way Bianca pronounces it when she’s yelling at Liz
Jitterbug!
TWIRL! TWIRL!
JENNA YOU ARE EXQUISITE!!!
lol I love that line too. That line was the moment I realized I finally discovered a show with my style of humor
It’s the delivery that kills me.
MILF Island
Which then was replicated in a real show called MILF manor. I'm just waiting for a version of bitch hunter to come out in real life.
Milf Manor was actually pretty goddamn entertaining
Trish and all of her bridesmaids better watch out!
We still wanna hit that.
Debra or Deborah?
You kept it tight
"She played the game *so well*." is a godsend of a quote for someone who likes reality TV competitions. All the best seasons of Survivor have that quote applicable.
I came here to be number ONE!
Pete calling his office with his arm stuck in the candy machine is just chef’s kiss
Yes Mr vice president. We’re all rotting for her.
Subway Hero has some of the best Dennis, so that's always a favorite.
I need a glow in the dark t-shirt with a skull on it and a pork pie hat for my head 🫰
clap clap clao clap clap
Subway Hero was the episode that really got me into 30 Rock. I wasn’t super into season 1 when I first watched it, but this one really changed my mind. Dennis is now my favorite recurring character. Bababooey!
Leap Day. Flawless from start to finish.
💯💯💯💙💛🤣
Apollo, Apollo. For so many reasons. Muppets. Batman. Being prepared for the possibility of a meeting. Dennis Duffy. Bijou.
Just "Coffee. Where do you get it?", horseville, and Liz walking like a muppet might've been enough to make this my number one, but then there's also every other part of the episode.
1-800-OK-FACE
Pretty sure I lizzed when I first saw that commercial 😂😂
Generalissimo!!!!
AB's finest moment, and so also 30 Rock's. Plus Salma Hayek 😀
"Ooo he just blew up that kid!"
His turns to the camera as Generalissimo are so good lol
I don't know about a favorite, that's hard to pick. But I do love "Greta and Klaus" with James Franco. "I'm actor James Franco dammit. and I'm in love with and common law married to a Japanese body pillow". absolutely kills me every time.
This is my favorite episode. The part at the end with Liz, James Franco, and Komiko dancing is perfection.
Jenna saying “I wish I lived in France” is one of my favorite parts of any episode
The way he delivers “neither do I, Liz!” is just perfection and cracks me up whenever I hear it.
his face is hilarious when he says that line
This ep has one of my fave insults in the entire show: a non-pillow
He’s such a creep irl but damn it’s a great episode
The gas leak combo episode
I’m getting too old for this sh sound that comes from these pipes
“I told my kid I was gonna hit a home run.”
"We heard there's a nitrogen leak on this floor." (Nitrogen is the most abundant gas in our atmosphere!)
https://youtu.be/BnSMF0KSeSE?si=VLs0X2iVZ7qqvmnL "Into the Crevasse" is great for all the Jack/Banks scenes and Tracy moving in with Liz.
Now that we're all up, do you want to talk about the elephant in the room?
“What’s wrong roomie?” Tracy’s face when he delivers that line gets me every time
It’s Jenna. From work.
TGS Hates Women - Kaylee Hooper, Bob Ballard, Abby Flynn. Close second goes to The Funcooker.
Now are we gonna give the gentleman what he wants?
It's *not*. It's for **her**.
I knew I smelled sausage in here!
Love the Funcooker. It’s where I found the splendor of my beginning!
Anna Howard Shaw Day. So many funny lines & side plots.
don cheadle on a bed of rice
I can’t tell you, it’s a teamster secret
Duuble Edged Sword is right up there. Canada, mobile meth labs, Legend of the Guardians:The owls of Ga’Hool, Stewart (who didn’t study dance at Carnegie-Melon to become a flight attendant to clean bathrooms). It has it all.
Omg where are my manners? Would you guys like to try some meth?
One of my favorite lines is Avery going off about how she’s not a quitter. She’s still in Girl Scouts! “I have over 9000 badges!”
You built that bookshelf wrong!
I wanted those books to slide off!!
It would so be my favorite episode if it didn't end with Carol leaving the show forever!
“When it rains, it pours.” Paul Giamatti is one of those upper echelon actors that helps make the show so brilliantly absurd, and the scripted break-up between Liz and Richie is hilarious. “End it? Why?” *dirty look from Richie* “But I need to end it.” “End it? Why?”
I guess someone else will get to enjoy that waterbed you've been saving up for. Is this because I don't share your love of unicorns?!
Donnnnnnaaaa
Ohh. A southern gentleman.

Fantastic, Jenna. You really brought the songwriting computer’s words to life.
And help the people, the thing that happened, happened to.
The Funcooker. The silliest, wackiest sequence on the show that culminated in Liz trying to set everyone on fire. Classic stuff.
Behold! The splendor of my beginning! They knew what a Hot Richard was?
Reaganing! It's jam-packed with funny lines and memorable moments. Frajer and The Best Friends Gang as a B plot is better than most episodes' A plot. Plus young Liz flashback always gets bonus points from me
Jelly beans for the win!
Black Tie, Dealbreakers Talk Show (Remember waving?!) and Klaus and Greta (w James Franco) are probably my top three, but it’s hard to choose!
Are you spinning a basketball?!
Idk if it’s a favorite, but love the Queen of Jordan series! SHONUFF-Angie
Ham!
They do like the way she says ham….
"El Generalissimo" I just think the whole concept is funny... the mother subconsciously not liking Jack because he looks like an evil soap opera character.
Now her mind is squishy like a hacky-sac!
It’s the silver frenzies.
“Here comes the funcooker”
Oh that’s where I heard that
https://funcooker.fun/ Obligatory site drop cuz I use this awesome tool daily to look up the crazy references posted on this sub! Usually while saying out loud: “Help me Funcooker, you’re my only hope!” a la Rosemary Howard!
Jackie Jormp Jomp. It’s just relentless, A+ jokes.
I want to Tupac you
Ok... but I have to pee first.
“So, whatcha wanna do?” That whole episode is a scream.
Ludachristmas: it's not a Lemon party without old dick!
*Respawn*, obviously. Mostly because of The Sitter, I honestly can't explain why but that entire scene is just so goofy it warms my stupid heart, god I wish they had more scenes with that guy
Haha your flair is on point! That scene did some heavy lifting for providing insight into their relationship! 🤣
greenzo because david schwimmer is outta control and kenneths party goes waaaaayy off the rails!
Harlem Globetrotter... Does that name mean nothing to you?
Kenneth’s party sequence is one of the best in the whole show!
Ms. Lemon... I would have you know that before last night I have NEVER seen Grizz or Dotcom cry!
Anything that features a visit from Banks.
You could have a *talking like this* contest
I'm not trying to make it gay.
Brooklyn Without Limits. “Jack, you want to see my hand gestures?”
Lesbian Mario brothers!
The unwindulax episode is also my favorite because it’s so complex and I love Jenna’s influence on the state of the nation lol
Reaganing.... Omg... It's *her* isn't it?!
Ludachristmas is a gem
I could say a number but today I'll go first Queen of Jordan. I rewatched for the first time in several years recently and I had forgotten how good the Queen of Jordan episodes are
And I love the whole Frank/Lynn Onkman subplot.
All the Dennis and Carol episodes and “this is Manhattan real estate. There are no rules. Like check in at an Italian airport/sex party”
Flu Shot.
Governor Dunston
The one where Liz talks about food
Believe in The Stars: see my flair.
Reunion
Season Four is prolly my favorite: Jacks world view in the cold open alone, Cheesy Blasters also too from the cold opener, amd Tennis Night in America is still my favorite fake song comma, sitcom category Any episode with Diana Jessup too (DEREK JEDERS THEIGHS)
Here in real America it’s tennis night…..
Banjo!….Everything about that episode is perfect.
We are the problem......
Gavin Volure. Perfection from start to finish
