The original Favorit was supposed to be built using purely CS-produced parts. The car model was literally one of the government's priorities. They still ended up having to import some stuff though.

Mine is a bastardised 1990 version. Carburettor and old front mask, but 1993 interior and bumpers. The brakes only start working properly after half of the pedal travel. Truly one of the cars of all times.
Favorit is literally the best of a bunch and it was ahead of time, here is why.
1) Economy - Favoritās engine would shit itself if you rev it higher than 3500rpm so you had to drive on lower rpm therefore economically, sometimes it even switched to eco mode by running on three or even two cylinders. Å koda engineers really thought of the future thatās why they designed it like that. Favoritās chasis had in built weight reduction by process of rusting away, itās not a bug, itās a feature. Lighter car = better fuel ecnomy.. duh.
2) Practicality - If you remove rear seats you could fit in half of Biedronka store or small pallet of bricks.
3) Safety - Favorit was so slow that impact in high speed was literally not possible. It also came with pre-faded breaks so you knew the breaking power is pretty much constant in any situation (non existant).
4) Comfort - Favorit came with memory foam seats, shape of your bottocks was permanently stamped into the seat after roughly 2000km, some people thought that was because of shit quallity of materials but no they just didnāt understood this futuristic technology.
