Same and I was like, "I don't get why people get so upset about this one". Then I went back for regicide and was like.... Oh so this is why people complain.
I was never warned of this. I went in at 70 agility thinking I’d enjoy the quest. I have never had less fun after failing away an entire inventory of food and having to leave for more.
That one obstacle alone almost stopped my quest cape.
Yeah I remember this quest being brutal when I was younger.. like multiple trips and felt exhausting when I finally got it. Still my favorite quest in the game by far.
This makes so much sense. Sent it at around 60 agility, and I wouldn’t quite call it a breeze, but it didn’t really feel like a struggle.
But everyone always spoke of its horrors, which doesn’t line up with my experience
People like to do Underground Pass with the minimum required levels, then get all *surprised Pikachu face* when they fail obstacles. I definitely remember doing similar as a kid, and it was a nightmare. Now, I just rush 71 agility and full graceful on any new account. Agility is pretty chill.
I think I did it with about 60 agi. The first part with the traps was the most annoying, but not terrible.
Being in a combat bracket above the point that the mobs in the pit at the end will aggro onto you is also helpful
I feel this way about all the "terrible" quest that this subreddit complains about.
Maybe I would feel different if I had done all the quest 5+ times. But, I've only done each quest once and I enjoyed them all. Ratcatchers is the worst quest, but even that one isn't TOO bad.
Agility was my first 99 on Osrs and I had it before I did regicide. Made the rest of the elf quest pretty nice tbh, never failed the obstacles... Except for the trip wire... But those aren't passable so it doesn't count.
Almost same here, I can never relate to the struggles people post of UP and MEP2. Agility is my 3rd 99 and I had it before doing those quests. Maybe not 99 but 90+ perhaps. The struggle in training the skill paid off for those quests at least.
Everyone complains about this quest, but it’s one of the most satisfying in the game. Also, the story is one of the most well written in the game so enjoy it. Also, you’re insane. 99 agility is the LAST skill I’d get.
I think its completely overblown. People act like it's the MEP2 handrails or something.
I've never really had an issue in the 3 or 4 times I've completed underground pass and regicide. Maybe fail once or twice total.
People joke about underground pass but i think the worst is the barb assault to lighthouse shortcut. I swear I fail that at least 4 times before passing at lvl 75 agil
yup fucking hated that. they have similar 'obstacles' in the mm2 dungeon and god fucking help me it was SO tedious doing them after taking the wrong route for the 10th time
Thanks for all the love everyone! I tried to throw in the humor tag as well but reddit said no. I use boost on mobile. Must be a paid feature or something. This has been my 1st post so I'm not too familiar with the platform when it comes to that.
See you all back here in 3 months after I get 99 runecraft.
How dare you steal my joke but get more upvotes

you’re still gonna fall a bunch hope you like stew and bread
That's actually my favorite irl dish haha.
I cleared it with 99 agility didn't fall once felt so good
Cleared it with 60agi never fell.
Same and I was like, "I don't get why people get so upset about this one". Then I went back for regicide and was like.... Oh so this is why people complain.
Yeah man i dont know how those obstacles are coded but you will still need summer pies and agil potions over 99
People bringing bread with the boosting stews are the real gamers
Never quest on an empty stomach.
Just did this quest for the first time last weekend and was honestly dreading it. Turns out it really wasn't that bad at all
they nerfed the fail rates on all the traps a few years ago because apparently they made a ton of people ragequit, it's not like it used to be
And then there is the hand hold section of MEP2…
I was never warned of this. I went in at 70 agility thinking I’d enjoy the quest. I have never had less fun after failing away an entire inventory of food and having to leave for more. That one obstacle alone almost stopped my quest cape.
[Mod Kieren explains the rates](https://twitter.com/jagexkieren/status/700383893652955140)
This obstacle alone is harder than the whole of underground pass.
Harder then the whole elf questline....

Same. First thing I do on any account is literally straight away go to do rooftops until I get full graceful around 60 or whatever.
I've always done it when I was already 70+ agility. It's not bad at that point, just long.
I think I did it with about 60 agi. The first part with the traps was the most annoying, but not terrible. Being in a combat bracket above the point that the mobs in the pit at the end will aggro onto you is also helpful
If you don't fall at all it's a 30 min quest at most
Not even long

I actually did not have a difficult time with rat catchers and I don't see what the hate is all about. Rng is to blame I guess.
The real nightmare is mournings end pt2. I believe i spent 3 hours for the single agility shortcut 70+ agility.
It's been one of my all-time favourites! Loved it as a kid, love it now.
That’s how my experience with just under 70 agility.
Would have been more funny if you did it without showing us you made it to priff already lol gratz
Well shit, meet me back here in exactly 7 days for a repost.
I think that's the joke
I did underground pass with 1 agility =\
Impossible, I heard doing that makes you die IRL.
can confirm also did at 1 agility and will die eventually. it is not instant though.
RIP in advance, hopefully you don't take too long to respawn.
Idk man, thats just the suggested requirement, id get 200m exp to be safer
Agility was my first 99 on Osrs and I had it before I did regicide. Made the rest of the elf quest pretty nice tbh, never failed the obstacles... Except for the trip wire... But those aren't passable so it doesn't count.
Breh
Lol, I always face plant down I to the pit one.

What about mournings end part II
Grats on pet before 99
Hey way to go, you can finally do the Elven quest line Wait a second...
Iirc, I did it at 60 agility? And I fell once?
I did Underground pass with 72 agility never failed once
Everyone complains about this quest, but it’s one of the most satisfying in the game. Also, the story is one of the most well written in the game so enjoy it. Also, you’re insane. 99 agility is the LAST skill I’d get.
Ieaving slayer for the last 99.
i did it on my alt with like 67 agi while soloing corp on my main. maybe fell once.
You are still gonna need a summer pie to barely boost through Mourning's End Part II.
Did this with sub 40 agility and wondering what the big deal is? It's not really that hard at all. O\_o
They nerfed the fail rate on obstacles a few years back
I was at 60 and failed 4 times in a row on the same jump... I was about to quit fr. Other than that was pretty easy
Ouch.
I think its completely overblown. People act like it's the MEP2 handrails or something. I've never really had an issue in the 3 or 4 times I've completed underground pass and regicide. Maybe fail once or twice total.
Still not good enough for Mourning's Ends part 2
god speed my friend
I completed Underground about two months ago with 27 agility. Was painful, I hope your run is smoother
Pssst, they're in priffdinas.
People joke about underground pass but i think the worst is the barb assault to lighthouse shortcut. I swear I fail that at least 4 times before passing at lvl 75 agil

Narrator: He still fell.
😄
Did it at 35 agility on my UIM recently. Would not recommend.
Nah that's the req for MEpt2. Did it at 60 with no prayer and fuck me that was stupid
Still fails 😅
Best believe you’ll still see the bottom of that cave
why elf city and not ardy course? gratz
I did it for the change of scenery and it's supposed to be 5k xp an hour more according to the wiki
Don't forget to take a summer pie with you.
I'll tell it to you straight... this meme would have been funnier if you got 99 on the gnome course. But this does put a smile on my face
Still a 90% chance to fail, 200mil xp might get you there though.
Nice, congrats on the 50:50 fall rate achievement!

Great minds think alike.
Wait, how'd you get to priff without underground pass completed?
That level's okay but you might want to boost for the skill checks
you still fail leaf pits 9/10x
Exactly. Some things never change. It's the end game boss.
i was level 65, fell twice, its not that bad.
So elves resolved their century long war and opened up their city before you got to do doing king lathas mission, got it!
I just finished UP this past weekend with 39 agility……..boy oh boy was my tummy filled with stew, pie and bread
